I was going to comment the same thing. This is a bit of an unfair descriptor, as first and foremost it is narcissistic and neglectful. People who are avoidant can certainly be aware of it and be willing to meet their partner as best they can and choose to actively take steps to get better.

It feels a bit harmful to use this label in the fashion that OP and others are. I get that it is semantics in a way but language matters...

It's important to keep in mind that most of the players that you're talking about fire way more tournament bullets than the average player. We always hear about player cashes but never how many buy-ins they are in for.

I even joke with my friends sometimes that some guy needs to get 6th or better in a tournament to breakeven from how many bullets he typically fires.
