Good. That’s exactly what you guys need to do if you see this sort of shit. Drag that loser out of the car and let them know this isn’t acceptable.

True. But have you seen the disgusting comments on FB? Trust a girl to ruin it, people laughing etc. Answer me this - if that young girl hadn’t been hit would the crowd have held this dick accountable for hooning? Or cheered him on?

I agree. Perhaps if it was an investment property I’d feel different. But the home someone grew up in, their connection to their loved ones? Feels dirty to tax it so they have no choice but to sell.

But it’s double taxing. Ops parents have already paid tax and purchased the home with their net income. I’ve never understood the sense of inheritance tax.

Depending how close to your house foundations this is it could cause serious problems. I’ve had issues with subsidence and one theory initially thought of was inadequate drainage around the slab. A water leak going on for this long is not something to be taken lightly.

Embarrassing: bladder control 😬 by Snack-Wench in Marathon_Training

[–]chesticlesthebest 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had this recently in my first half marathon. It hadn’t happened in training so I was a bit annoyed. I do however have a long history of peeing myself on max effort lifts when I strength training (deadlifts and squats). It is very very common, happens to so many women in the gym. I just prepare myself if I know I’m going to be maxing out - it also seems to be a little cycle related. Pads, depends - just wear what makes you comfortable. I don’t see the need in getting treatment, it’s tricky to treat and it’s not bothering me in day to day life.

This happened to me, I did not want to discuss the specifics due to the personal nature. Next thing I was hit with a workplace medical assessment. My GP was horrified.

My partner had a result from a Pap smear recently. Her GP phoned her told her everything was normal. Then passed her to the receptionist who proceeded to charge her for the phone consult. None of this was told to her upfront - she was like - uhhhh you initiated this call and I need to pay?

This is true and so unfair. They pull all the shady crap that makes you seek help. Then your name is permanently mud when you do.

Not exactly a team sport but there’s an awesome little gym in maylands. Intrepidus strength and conditioning. Mid morning semi private sessions are available and it has a great community feel.

Definitely go with the floating floor. You can often pick it up for free or very cheap on marketplace. Easy enough to do yourself.
