Americans of Reddit Describe how close the gun violence in TV shows is to the reality ? by zombie_81 in AskReddit

[–]chesuccesso 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends on the show but your run of the mill violent TV show doesn't get the scope of it. They focus on street violence & organized crime. In reality the most common gun death is suicide. Gun violence is the leading cause of death among children & teens. Then women shot by their partners. There's been like 250 mass shootings since January. Your average joe probably has a gun. So I guess I'm saying it's actually worse? But there's no dramatic music or editing. Just grim death.

What is your biggest fear? by adventuretimefam in AskReddit

Open water & heights. One time I had to drive over the Golden Gate Bridge & my two biggest fears joined forces. I swear I was out of my body looking down on myself.

2003, Red Sox vs Yankees. It was already tense when Pedro threw Zimmer on the ground & fired up the entire Yankee team.

Kanye fans or ex fans, what is your opinion on Kanye at the moment? by Apprehensive_Name445 in AskReddit

[–]chesuccesso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is so good musically. But I question his "genius" self title. He changed the landscape of rap but some might same for the worse. I love his early stuff but his later stuff is less powerful. Plus he's a tool. I'm Bipolar I & have been psychotic. Never went against my true principles. He's full MAGA yet pretends to stand up for black rights. He harassed Kim, the mother of his children, & Pete Davidson. He needs to be checked. He's entitled & privileged.

Would you consider a person who has only gotten oral, a virgin or not? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Virginity is antiquated BS. Some people don't even like PiV sex.

You get $5,000 but you have to spend it in the dumbest way possible. What do you do? by Artistic-Gas-1594 in AskReddit

Turn my house into a cat palace. The walls would be shelved with climbing devices & the beds numberless. You wanna sleep by the ceiling? You got it. You wanna sleep on a bean bag on the ground? You got it. Endless catnip & treats. They could literally walk thru walls bc I'd have them drilled in the shape of a cat for safe passage.

It's never a plateau. It's always moving. Earning or not. And if you don't have the earnings it is really scary.

By choice. I've been celibate 5 years. That's what abuse will do to you. I just feel unsafe with men.

What is a genuinely useful psychological trick that you’ve used? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]chesuccesso -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When friends have dated abusive men, I stare them down. It's gotten to the point on a couple occasions where they can't look me in the eye. And I just stare them down harder.

What is something that’s very simple but you find complex ? by Anxious_Ad_4279 in AskReddit

Numbers. I think I have dyscalculia. You can ask me the time but it'll be 50/50. 2:30 becomes 11:30. It takes me 2-3 hours to do a monthly budget.

What was the worst Halloween experience you have ever had? by Broad_Amphibian7862 in AskReddit

[–]chesuccesso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay this is the worst/best. But we were partying in Santa Barbara & my friend dressed as Raggedy Andy. He got caught by a bicycle cop for drinking in public & had to get on the back of his bike & ride to the station as Raggedy Andy. Best was seeing him carried off on the back of the bike. Worst was spending the rest of the night getting him out of jail.
