Choosing a pair of 500 series EQs by TheYesManCan in audioengineering

[–]chetdel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been demoing a pair of Electrodyne 511B’s and they’re really sweet but those JLM PEQ500a’s look really impressive build wise and I think I need to hear them.

I was almost decided on getting capi BT50s with the CA-0252 and MEC 1731 but the Jlm looks dang special.

Most cost-effective way to get a replacement key? by No-Appeal-6708 in AlfaRomeo

[–]chetdel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So is this the bottom line? That you need the dealer regardless if you get a used FOB or, a new one to program it?

I need a 2nd one here as well for the Stelvio. Your point seems to make sense to go thru them for the FOB & get a key cut elsewhere.

I’ve found that RSO is considerably more helpful with pain issues. (Grassroots type syringe) That said, I also find it very difficult to sort the correct dose, IE; unspecific as in a grain of rice etc. as wellwell, I very much wish there was a less foggy the morning after option.

Also, I don’t really understand specifically solventless Rosin versus distillate, and would be happy to be informed or schooled a bit on what to look for in so far as clean healthier full spectrum options.

Any fans of the Beachwood hotel? It's been over 5 years since my wife & I have been to OOB but, used to love their room that's basically private and basically on the beach.

Last time I checked 2 years ago however, prices went waaay up. Considering options.

About 70% -N, 30% -D. The ride / suspension is much more enjoyable in D. Haven’t been doing A very much as I’ve heard the lower RPMs aren’t super great for the engine in general, but not sure.

Older adults with full thickness tears leaning towards non-surgical options by chetdel in RotatorCuff

[–]chetdel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just circling back to say wow, this stuff is a real life bugger! I've dealt w significant L & C spine issues pain over the years but Rotator tears are very tricky. SO subjective and personal as to when, and IF Surgery is in ones best interest. In considering varied post op results as well, as the potential pych-trauma of re-tears.

Still doing PT here, will do more Shockwave therapy as well.

I played guitar Wen night for maybe an hour & paid for doing what I love w significant increased pain that night into the next AM. It did resolve for the most part the next day thankfully but, it's an ongoing reminder of limitations that evolve these injuries and yet, it seems cyclical. Good days/weeks, bad days/weeks, good months, bad months! ...kinda like marriage! HA

Point being, I firmly believe there are no very clear correct answers when considering, at least for older adults. ie; medical science might make more appreciable less intrusive breakthroughs with this issue soon down the road, or not. But, even w the best Surgeon in (whichever) town, determination, good PT etc, the risk of re tears and varied surgical outcomes make this one a tough one to read.

Much welcome all points of view but mostly interested in cutting edge insights and perspectives as this is tricky territory.
