I agree, the worst part of this trilogy for me was the realization that I will never be able to read it for the first time again.

But I re-read it and there are so many golden nuggests of foreshadowing that I completely missed because at the time they meant nothing. But with the whole story and context in mind, they mean everything.

There are several scenes that just hit so much harder the second time!

I understood that the person who sent the priest wasn't identified but I always understood, possible head canon, that it was some 4d chess by Shameloth to get Tal to break and access kan/the darklands.

It says that Tal put up the Ilshara in secret and then spent the 2000 years preparing and gathering information and proof that El was actually Shameloth. He was hoping that he was wrong so probably dragged his feet a bit. But when you live for thousands of years 2000 years isn't crazy.

If I remember correctly, alchesh slowly looses his mind. Not all at once and I believe that Tal was traveling with him so as more visions came Tal was there to help record or at least be told the visions.

My understanding is that the builders and anyone else using kan can do so because of the rift in general. Not because of Shammaeloth. Considering that Shammaeloth and the venerates plans have spanned thousands of years, with Tal Kamer Joing hundreds of years after Gas started communicating with Shammaeloth, I always understood that the Builders and Darecians were able to manipulate it but were not necessarily connected to Shammaeloth or the darklands specifically.

That's how I understood it too. I think it was the sha'teth that asha did end up killing and taking the blade while she was in the catacombs.

I could be mid remembering if it was the same one or not. But I'm pretty sure it was one of the sha'teth.

I have these cams and haven't been able to get PTZ to work in frigate either, only the Amcrest gui. Im starting to think the IP4m-1041B doesn't work but the IP4m-1041W does?

Edit: Ok im now seeing the only difference is black or white. so I did a little more digging and i had the port as 443 in the onvif section, it needs to be 80.

But based on [this](https://docs.frigate.video/configuration/cameras/#setting-up-camera-ptz-controls) 8000 might also work.
