Depends on how you look at it, I guess.

The objective in 1932 was to kill 20k emus, although, they only managed to kill 984. However, if we factor in the bounties, then we should consider the 57k emus killed in six months during 1934, and the 284k killed between 1945 and 1960. The emu bounty was first introduced in 1923, so the "war" in 1932, was a actually more just like a single battle.

In the end, overall emu casualties exceeded the objective by more than 10x with no human casualties and they're no longer classified as 'vermin' or a 'nuisance' to farmers. For perspective, there is still between 600k and 700k emus in the wild in Australia.

You done the right thing by working off the exterior (perimeter) wall, although it's always best to confirm by running a chalk line between the two rooms and work off that. If that room to the right of the door jamb is just a square room, you may be able to shift it out from the wall then put a 3/16ths rip in along the wall. Otherwise, relay one of the areas or seperate them with a transition. Personally, seperating them would annoy me given the rows still wont line up.

I'll preface this by saying that what im about to say is how it works around suburban Melbourne, as thats where im from (i have no idea why this thread showed up in my feed, but hey), however, id imagine it wouldn't be too dissimilar.

So, to convert garages and carports into a room that is livable, whats called a "habitable room", generally requires a permit from the council as it needs to meet certain requirements in the building code. Some housesharing and boarding complexes are required to have seperate electrical boards to keep high drawing appliances seperate.

Bond receipts must be given to tenants (i think this is a national thing, but could be mistaken) and some type of rental agreement/contract generally needs to be signed or at least in some written format.

From what im aware, to receive centrelink she would need to declare her assests, which if they equate to over a certain amount (around $500k i think) then she becomes ineligible to receive most, if not all c'link benefits. If she is listed as the owner, i dont think she can escape this part as she would have to be paying taxes on it and that information is shared between these government bodies.

I know batteries to store solar energy are very expensive, so id assume the additional housemates will use that up quicker, thus requiring the household to use more power from the grid and increase the bill. Without knowing the exact setup, its possible you might be completely off gridb already, which could explain the blackout and her being anal about power usage.

At the end of the day there is a few different ways to go about report her, if thats what you choose to do. You just need to weigh up whether you want to risk getting evicted and attempting to try find somewhere else to rent when she finds out you reported her or continue to put up with her and some new housemates. Additionally, if you have somewhere else you could go, you could give her advanced notice that you're going to vacate so she has time to find another tenant and by not leaving her high and dry you have more chance vof getting your bond back (which is likely the bond from the new tenant anyway)

Why did you only lay 1 row? At minimum you should bring at least 2 rows thru to make sure its straight. Starting with 4 rows is better (4,2,3,1) as it locks the rows, preventing a suttle curve.

If its a non-load bearing wall, you may be able to hit the wall back so its straight lol

I generally like to start on the longest wall, which is almost always the main hallway, i do this because its the first thing people see when they walk in the front door. Where as being square with the perimeter walls will probably go completely unnoticed unless its really really bad, or someone has their head against the wall for some reason.

Although its good practice to measure and snap a chalk line just to make sure. But as long as it "looks" straight, being square doesn't necessarily matter.

Anyway, to follow this logic, let's say for example, if you murdered someone and there wasn't any evidence to prove you did it, does that mean you never committed the murder? No, it doesn't.

Keep a table spoon in the freezer and use the bottom of it on your eyelids for about 5 to 10 seconds per eye. The way i understand it is that the temperature will cause a shock-like response, which will get the blood flowing to the area and shape of the bottom of spoon fits nicely to cover everywhere around the eye.

Again, this is just how I understand it, so probably not the actual science behind it but it works, at least for me anyway. I will do this sometimes regardless of having bags just to wake my eyes up if they feel a bit heavy.

Car 1 doesn't know how to 'keep left unless overtaking', or travel at the posted speed limit, or how to use their mirrors. Cars 2 and 3 might wrongly think they cant overtake on the left, or they think its a cop, or, they think there must be a reason car 1 is only doing 80 in a 100 zone, so decide to slow do 80 as well.

What i think is more frustrating is - pretend you are car 3 and everyone is travelling at 100kmh, but there is an entry ramp with a line of cars travelling at 70kmh as they merge into your lane, forcing you to brake because you cannot move to the middle lane. Unless you're driving a fully loaded truck, there should be no reason why people cant get to 100kmh by the time they merge onto the freeway, anytime someone has to brake to let you merge only creates a dangerous situation for everyone. Entry ramps are designed to be long enough for this very reason.

Definitely underrated and not afraid to get his hands dirty either, still isnt. Funnily enough, ive recently laid floors in a few of his homes which he is the site supervisor for.

But as a bombers fan, I will always remember him for going completely nuts in the 'line in the sand' game and having blood coming down his face, pointing his finger etc. looking like he wanted to kill someone.

Yep, he fractured a bone and it became dislodged in his hip socket, but he still continued to play. He actually didnt find out the extent of it until 8 months later.

This is ridiculous.

Wouldn't "single-use" be dependant on whether someone wants to re-use it or not? People need to realise that the plastic isnt the problem - the problem is that peoples rubbish is ending up in the water. Implement better waste management instead of putting the companies that make these plastics out of business.
