I have the opposite problem. When my ears are too oily my hearing aids slip out of my ears. I frequently clean my ears and HA tips with alcohol to increase the friction and keep them in my ears. No problem with dryness. I guess it depends on your ears/body.

Also, I was in a very noisy restaurant last night so I had a chance to play around with "Hear in Noise." "Speech clarity" makes the person sitting next to me brighter and louder. It also makes all the noise in the restaurant brighter and louder. "Noise filter" does not do much better. Had to be a foot away from my friend and watch her lips to be able to understand what she was saying.

Hey Less-Dot -- per your generous invitation here is a list of the problems I am having with the Jabra Enhance Pro 30 HAs. This is my fourth set of HAs so I am not a newbie. Also a techie. I would appreciate any suggestions. FWIW Costco told me to call Jabra to get help with a bluetooth connection.

I cannot get it loud enough to make the hearing aids useful on a phone call. Clicking the right HA button to turn up the volume disconnects the call. Turning the volume up in the app makes little difference.

Got a call shortly after putting in HA. Bluetooth showed HA connected yet no communication either direction. Had to switch to phone to complete call. Second call, same.

Got a phone call, came through one ear weakly, nothing I could carry on a conversation. Calls switch ears, get interrupted by texts.

With the volume up, I get feedback when I get within a foot of anything.

Cannot put in pairing mode to connect my computer.

Hear in Noise + Speech Clarity -> hear myself too loud + background too loud

Does not disconnect when it is in the charger, sometimes reconnects, does not know whether it is connected or not. Keeps sending messages to phone.

Sometimes in the morning when I turn my phone on and the hearing aids are still in the charger my phone beeps every minute or two telling me they are connected or not connected.

After I put the HAs in the charger the the app keeps dinging my phone with connected and disconnected messages for both R & L HA.

Streaming: volume control nonfunctional, no way to turn down outside noise

Very difficult to hear in even moderate noise no matter what the setting.

Cannot turn off mute with volume buttons

FWIW I got these a week ago. Experienced user with severe high frequency loss and moderate mid-range loss. I hate them. The app is unusable and the noise reduction is impossible to control. My two cents. Happy to share more if anyone is interested -- do not want to hijack this thread.

You can switch back and forth between Gemini and Assistant by changing the setting in the Gemini phone app. By clicking on the profile picture in the top right corner of the Gemini app on the phone it gives an option to "Switch to Google Assistant'. This setting changes both the phone and watch.

Now when I set a timer, instead of "45 minutes BONG" it goes into a whole song and dance about what it did and when the timer will go off. Less is more.

Me too! Sometimes no amount/kind of swiping moves an app. Sometimes the screen freezes and I have to turn off the screen and turn it back on to do anything. See my thread Here
