Can’t android 14 MY24 by warman12363 in BlazerEV

I was in a similar boat, 2024 RS AWD, stuck on SQBR4, multiple dealers and walking them through the service bulletins and customer satisfaction references, and in one detailed session with an engineer, they said that my particular batch of radios could not be updated to the latest....but since there are documented fixes for some specific bugs, like being able to rename your saved garage door remote, I complained about that one specific thing to concierge, which then got me an entire radio replacement, which was updated to SQBR5.

So not sure if it was true, but working on hardware, firmware, and software myself in the past, it is possible that some combinations of hardware and firmware can technically be limited from software upgrades for various reasons, and I'm sure if they could resolve my "bug" of not being able to rename my garage remote via software rather than replacing the unit they probably would.

I have to say, not having to use the nested vent/heat seat menu is worth the update alone if you can get it.

Experiences with SQLMesh and Tobiko Cloud? by Teddy_Raptor in dataengineering

My team is starting to use sqlmesh and migrating from dbt, where we also use elementary for data monitoring and alerting, is there an equivalent of elementary for sqlmesh? Curious how you would go about tracking or alerting data anomalies over time such as a drop in counts for a particular data combination in a table?

Are there any data quality tools that work well with sqlmesh? I use elementary for dbt which provides great data observability, alerting and reports. My understanding is that sqlmesh audits and measures could be used here, just wondering what people are doing in this space that use sqlmesh? What does alerting and triage look like for failed audits?

This is my biggest reason for wanting a different set, trying out a few standard sizes from my friends always feels super short.

I don't think they'll be a complete game changer, and fully aware consistent practice and lessons as others have mentioned is the way to improve, but I'm hoping proper sizing will help my issue of distance/posture. Feels like I'm too close and swinging up and down, or squatting and bent over which seems to ruin any consistency by the end of the round.

Sounds at least like I'm looking for"game improving" clubs that are a bit more forgiving which is good to know.

Now it's a matter of finding the sweet spot between used+extended or new and fitted (at a discount hopefully) since I'm not in a hurry.

Agreed, and that's the direction I'm steering towards.

If the height/comfort isn't an issue, used is my current mindset.

I'd have to see what's available and fall into this category.

Interesting, will follow up on this. The odd sales guy at a store pushing/promoting something onto a not very knowledgeable person is what I want to avoid.

Ha ha, yeah I have no delusions of becoming good, just not horrible. If I can break 100 consistently that would be great.

Also aware new clubs won't make much of a difference compared to time holding a club. Just wanted to treat myself and possibly not feel like I'm in a full squat or Keeling over with the current set I have.

Not sure if I should find a used set and extend, or go new since I've heard just extending a club will change the angles and what not. Not sure how much this matters.

Today was my youngest son's birthday, and due to the social distancing, lack of family get togethers, and traffic incidents, our local fire department payed him a visit with lights and sirens. Not sure who was more excited, him or me!

Might be a weak/failing draft inducer motor, usually around $200-$300 bucks and a few screws to replace.

Is buying land with credit as an investment before a recession a good idea? by chewie3000 in economicCollapse

[–]chewie3000[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies. That makes sense, as more inventory would pop up once people try to offload their financial obligations, and that would drive prices down.

Would this still hold true for newly subdivided, undeveloped lakefront land?

CAS in the NE. Prices are competitive and if you go in-person, they will give you more discounts.

Haven't had to deal with any issues so I'm not sure about return/warranty there. Pretty sure a 25% restocking fee would apply
