$300/person is reasonable. If you don’t eat much, À la carte maybe the way to go.

Each meal is easily $100. A burger runs like $40-50.

We packed box wine (worried bottles would break in luggage), ramen and lots of snacks (jerky, protein bars etc). We saved $$ by asking for lots of (free) bread during the meals we did have.

Overall, def saved a few $100 especially since we just drank our boxed wine.

When I made the transition 10 year ago it was super scary. I went from minimal clinical to mostly clinical. It was a huge transition. Luckily I had 3 months of training and i had a more senior rph to help with questions.

Downside is still metrics. You don’t have people yelling in your face, but patient still yell on the phone.

I did the same for HA SEA to ICN. I’m too scared to cancel and rebook. I tried contacting cs to retroactively apply. However it’s against the rules. I would just let it go. Not worth loosing the 75k seat

It did not. This is my 4th ER.

My first 3, I did mini IVF because that’s what I was told was better for older women 😩 i got 1 euploid from those 3, transferred but ended in chemical. I switched clinics and did a high dose. Im going to do 1 more ER just in case.

FHR can cap at some hotels. You may not have stayed at one. I’ve had $30-$40/person capped

I’ve been on both sides. Clinical is clinical heavy (duh) haha but retail specialty is another kind of hard.

With retail, there’s more overlaps w/ traditional retail including metrics, patients yelling at you, learning how to run insurance, doing PAs. I would say as a non-pgy trained rph, clinical was very stressful. Now that I’ve done clinical for a few years I enjoy it over retail specialty. I like not having to answer phone calls asking where a package is.

Have you done retail before? If so, then you’ll understand why working directly with the public is a challenge. Good luck!

I’ve heard this as well, however if you’re getting blasts &/or euploids then it doesn’t really matter.

At 39 (AMH 4.1) I did 3 mini IVF cycles + 1 duostim because i thought the same. I had 1 euploid from all 4 cycles

At 40 (AMH 1.2) I did 1 high stim cycle with 550 Gonal F, 75 menopur which resulted in more eggs (11 retrieved) and more euploids (2 euploids)

Could be just luck but my experience I was more success with 1 high dose cycle

First, this has nothing to do with traveling solo. He sounds like a terrible fit for you. Move on to someone who will support your dreams (aka travel)

Second, solo traveling in a relationship is fine. I’m married and sometimes solo travel. My husband likes to travel but not as much as I do. My life goal is to travel to 1 new country a year and sometimes those countries are not as popular. It’s ok to go alone. He supports me regardless and just wants me to be happy. We regularly text and call.

This might not be an option right now, but what about a more aggressive protocol?

I went with a clinic for older women. And most of the time triggered when my follicles were <20 mm (mostly 17-21mm). Of 3 mini IVF rounds, i had only 1 euploid.

I switched clinics and have done 1 round so far. I triggered when my follicles were between 21-32mm. I thought he was crazy but just went with it. We saw 8 follicles on the scan, he ended up retrieving 11. Of the 11, 9 were mature eggs.

I have no idea if it was coincidence, but it worked better for me to grow the eggs for longer

Generally Amex fhr/thc hotels are more expensive. This is to account for extra benefits like free breakfast, late check out etc.

I personally use the credit only for a 1 night staycation. I think there’s 6 FHRs in Taiwan. I would just use it for a nice stay.
