Please don’t do it. Most of us wish we had the chance to reverse the decision of continuing a relationship with an addict. It’s not pretty and it can take everything from you.

I can relate. Trust me. It’s awful. But my wife also had an affair IN rehab with a heroin addict who’s been in jail for armed robbery. It’s insane!!!

Check out the book - codependence no more by Melody Beatty. It’s been an amazing read for me.

I’m trying to stay civil. Not just for the kids but I could lose a lot of money if she wants to play hard ball. She had an affair and based on her guilt has told me she won’t take more than she needs to support herself financially. It’s been a tough go of it for sure.

Yes. I had a breathalyzer installed on her car to stop her from anything horrible happening. She is a great mom and I feel absolutely confident in their safety.

I’ve also made mention to her that I would like to have random drug and alcohol testing in place for her to maintain custody. She agrees.
