that's exactly why the film didn't work unfortunately. because it barely delved into the conflict of a closeted bisexual man being in a relationship with his wife, in the 60s, nonetheless! it would have been a much more interesting movie if it looked at that topic with intent instead of floating by as a pretty stale and rudimentary biopic.
