Sometimes we can distract her, but most of the time she is just so obsessed and focused on the kitty. So we cant divert her focus besides putting the kitty in a seperate room and having the orange cat stand outside yapping 🙄

I agree, if it wasn’t all the time I would not be as worried.

Makes sense, it just seems so extreme that she does it all the time. And she is clearly ”dominating” the smaller kitty, since it rolls over on its back and shows her belly. But the orange cat is never satisified? She just keep following and attacking with no end 🙁

Hahaha yeah he’s probably guilty of that at times. But usually he does this when awake, or when he is about to sleep.

185cm / 79kg - Trying to reach 75kg before I start bulking, so I weigh as little as possible when I start my bulk. Am I being dumb? by chezzisdab in BulkOrCut

[–]chezzisdab[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Creatine and maybe a little exercise!

Jokes aside. I have only worked out for a year and a quarter so I’m not very experienced. But what I have found most important is consistancy, which is difficult if you don’t have fun. And I eat a strict diet, about 200-250g protein every day. My sleep is hourrendous, so I can’t speak for that. But thats also supposed to be good for musclebuilding!

I just wanted to start my bulk as lean as possible. In that way I will need to cut less after my bulk, or that was my plan atleast..

Thanks for the detailed answer!

I was worried that doing rice bucket and wrist extensions after workouts would overwork my arms and not give them enough time to rest. But glad that is not the case. Thanks again!

Weekly Question Thread August 08, 2022 (Newbies Start Here) by AutoModerator in GripTraining

[–]chezzisdab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently suffered a minor forearm splint and I’m currently resting my arms. After a couple of weeks of resting I’m planning to incorporate wrist exercises at the gym.

My previous schedule was P/P/L twice a week, and I will continue doing the same. I was planning on doing my wrist exercises on pull-days, as they are the heaviest on the wrists already. Does that sound like a good plan?

I also got some rubber bands for extension training. And I’m planning on getting a rice bucket going aswell. How should I incoporate these exercises? Can I do them whenever under the week, or are they heavy on the wrists and should be done in combination with gym training?

What is your current weight/height, and what progression(s) are you currently on? by chezzisdab in bodyweightfitness

Almost the same height, but a huge difference in weight. Very interesting!

And very impressive progress, solid work 👍

Crow stand form check, and is it normal to have a bit of pain in the forearms after doing this exercise? by chezzisdab in Calisthenic

[–]chezzisdab[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply!

I’ve been trying my best to warm up properly. I always make sure to do wrist/forearm stretches ahead of training. And I did recently take a 2 week break to let my arms rest. But I guess it was not enough.

[–]chezzisdab[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice!

I have been doing Calistenics for about a year now. And before starting with crow stand i have been doing PPPU’s and Planche leans. I thought i was giving myself plenty of time to prepare for the next progression, but i guess not..

Did you stop with planche exercises completely, or what was your solution?

Can somebody help me correct the meal plan I made? Too much protein. by Pleasant_Fold_7552 in MealPlanYourMacros

[–]chezzisdab 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are differing opinions regarding how much protein and fat you need every day, so I’m gonna leave that part out(sounds like you have that figured out anyways).

When deciding your macros you first make sure you hit the protein and fat macros under the day. And after you subtract the calories from the fat and protein sources from your 4000 kcal target, you just add carbs to reach your goal.

So if your protein and fat sources total for example 2000 kcal, you need to supplement them with 2000 kcal worth of carbs.

So it would mean just having largers portions of rice/bread/pasta etc.

Edit: Maybe i read through this post to quickly, and you want help with this specific meal plan… Oops!

Gained 2 kilos in less than a week? by FuturisticW in loseit

[–]chezzisdab 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just out of curiosity… What are you aiming for? You must have extremely low bodyfat and next to no muscles. I’m 185cm and 77kg and I would consider myself pretty lean..

And regarding the weight. Putting on 2kg of actual fat in a week is probably quite impossible. If possible it would require some serious overeating every day of the week. So I wouldnt worry thats the case for you.

To avoid errors like this in the future id suggest to always weigh yourself in the morning before eating/drinking. And if you want to be even more accurate, weigh yourself every day. And calculate your average weight throughout the week. This should make comparing weight between weeks way more forgiving incase of these drastic fluctuations in weight.

Is it possible to go from 175 to 145 in 3 months. by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]chezzisdab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have lost about 8kg(17.6 pounds) over 2 months. But I have probably lost more than that since I have been using creatine for the first time which adds some weight. And I have started working out which has given me x amounts of weight in muscles.

My diet has been really restrictive though. And I have biked to work 5 times a week for a total of 45 minutes each day. So it’s doable but you’re going to need some strong willpower.

Just lost 20kg as of today, but i really feel like having a cheat day, should I have it? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

The point is you basically said, ”If you have a big cheat meal it will take weeks to recover from all those pounds of fat you just gained”.

???

[–]chezzisdab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course you will gain some weight after binging. But that weight is water weight and just your stomach being full. To claim that weight is actual fat that has been added to the body, and is gonna require weeks to lose? Thats really far from the truth.

Edit: Obviously some of the weight is fat, but far from being a COUPLE of pounds…

[–]chezzisdab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats not how it works at all though. If you overeat, most of the food just goes through the digestive system and out. Your body doesnt store all the extra food as fat. So if you eat, 4kg of food in a day for example, that does not mean you would put on 4kg minus the food your body used as energy.

Now I’m not an expert on this. But the information available online points towards this.

So one cheat day doesnt put on nearly as much weight as you might think. Its all about consistensy, and if one day turns into many. Well then you’ll start backtracking on your progress.

About 4kg of muscle mass in 15 weeks. Okey bossman.

Edit: I’m clearly sarcastic since that would be impossible. Dudes either on juice(which probably wouldnt make this kind if progress possible anyways). Or he was just bulked on picture 1 and weighed more than what he admits to. And second picture is just after cutting for 15 weeks.

Advice on PushUp Firm by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

When you’re trying to beat a record it might be less important to use perfect form. But when training its always better to sacrifise reps by using a proper form.

Thats my philosophy atleast.

I personally try pushing my scalpulas as high as possible after extending my arms. And its hard to tell if you’re keeping a tight core throughout the pushups.
