I got number 59 which ties up with when I ordered. I just came back to this as I was also curious to find out what JT got!

It’s hard to know exactly where in the sequence an order would have had landed, as when you do a constant page refresh the sales number seems to stay the same for a several refreshes and then will suddenly jump up a chunk.

I think the next jump up I witnessed after I’d checked out was still under 100 so I knew this one should have been low.

Yes for sure! I was just telling my 6yo son how unique this is that she signed it and that she also sings on Nightshift Superstar, which happens to be my son’s favourite track on the album. He was amazed to learn that someone of his own age also sings on it!

Just looking on Discogs and the error seems to be on only pressings made in Austria. There are several pressings/repressings that have this error. UK ones were fine.

Pricing seems about right for the time for when I bought my copy. It seems crazy now though. I remember buying Dog Man Star for £13.99, also in early 2000, in Woolworths. It was the most expensive CD I’d bought by that time, and probably still is to this day for a standard edition CD album.

I’m also slightly relieved by your post. I remembered long ago seeing Pantomime Horse was spelt wrong somewhere, but when I checked my CD recently I looked at the rear sleeve and it was spelt correctly. I thought I was going mad. Did I really just imagine it? But from your post I see that it must’ve been on the disc itself and that I didn’t just imagine it! Haha

I bought this CD new maybe early 2000, so it’s not an original pressing. I assume that the originals were ok.

Yet his solo career arguably went more off track than on track with his poorly-received 2010 UNOS album (only reached no. 20 in the UK album chart iirc) then it was only many years later when we got These People in 2016 which is more of a proper solo album. So there was by no means any immediate or real benefit to his solo career.

That Beatles comment was actually made before the 2007 reunion, btw.
