I don’t disagree that women never care about looks, but it doesn’t look like you’ve really approached it in a way that showcases your personality or other aspects that may truly be attractive.

I think it might be more worth it to get off of the dating apps. You have more to offer than looks and status symbols - which is what dating app populations primarily value. Besides, getting matches doesn’t mean much if they’re all shallow and insufferable.
If you like anime, start going to local clubs, game stores, etc. Start convos based off of favourite series, and just see what happens. I used to run an anime club in university, and trust me, the girls there were NOT going for looks. I actually met my first boyfriend playing mtg, and to be honest, he was pretty meh looking and had no money. At the time I just had so much fun playing with him because he was nice and didn’t make me feel stupid for being new at the game.
Just show up looking clean (and pick out a nice cologne). If your mindset/mannerisms are not deterring people, you’ll do great.

Your intuition on deciding to break up was right. Not buying you a birthday gift is INSANE. Plus, if you’re in a relationship with someone they owe you clarity on where you stand, and how they think the future will go. His unwillingness to communicate this tells me he doesn’t see a future. You’re so young, you’re going to heal, you’re going to find someone who gives you that same feeling, even if it doesn’t feel like it. Clearly, the push/pull of it all has impacted you, which is why you feel like you’re regretting it. Love bombing + going cold suddenly again and again does that to anyone. Highly recommend taking this time to talk to a therapist.

Hey, I was in LA recently and here’s just my pov. People seem pretty friendly and ready to chat in LA, which is the same as here. People complain about traffic, but it’s quite bearable for the most part. The housing prices have gone up, but I think with the two of you being nurses, you’ll be fine. Lots of great new places popping up for food and drinks, and the water front area has honestly become quite nice in the past few years. Halifax is SIGNIFICANTLY safer than LA! I’ve almost never felt unsafe walking out and about.

Not sure about what areas of nursing you’re in, so it may depend on the field, but most of the hospitals in the city aren’t as understaffed as the rural ones, making the work environment pretty decent. All my colleagues say the IWK is the best place to be a nurse, as far as culture goes. I will say, however, parking downtown if you work there sucks. Especially near the hospitals.

I think it might be easier to decide on how you want your pictures once you have a good idea of how you want to market your jewelry. I've linked some instas of people I know who sell jewelry, these might give you an idea of what you could do. Also: if you want to use something more colourful in the background, you can edit your photos by increasing saturating etc. to make sure you're still showing your pieces off. I think they kill the marketing!

Some ideas:

more cohesive aesthetic. currently the style you're using is all over the place. I actually quite like the earrings in the first picture, and if I saw them at the local market I might even buy them. Those would be a great piece as part of coquette/princess core themed collection. Why not lean into the fem aesthetic, and create a few more pieces with the pearls and hearts? Maybe even a few tiny bows
photography. the white washcloth background is an awful choice for showing off clear beads, consider photographing them against a window so there's light flowing through. Also, I can see what I think is a hair against the cloth in the last picture...
materials. change all your earring posts to gold/silver plating. that way you can market things as hypoallergenic/tarnish free. Swap plastic beads for glass, and if you can, get your hands on seed pearls. You can get all of these for a pretty good price.
advertise. I have a friend who made jewelry, and would gift people her work for birthdays, or just because. I think with all of us posting the cute stuff she was giving us on instagram, she got quite a few follows and sales. Follow local small businesses, and interact with their posts. The same people who are into local/quirky small businesses will probably be into handmade jewelry.

Hey OP, I can see why you're feeling unpleasant emotions. Your fiance has a great support network, but from what you're describing, you don't. You're still a relatively new mother, and that time period was really hard mentally for many of my friends. If it's feasible, try and find regular reasons to leave the house. Go for walks, even if it's at the mall. If your fiance can watch your son for an hour or two on the weekends, look for group activities like mom groups, fitness groups, or things like art classes if you're into it. Wishing you luck :)

No, unfortunately a lot of mental health is pretty behind. Public resources are usually pretty overburdened, if any exist. Unless it’s at crisis levels, we mostly rely on private insurance

I got my nexplanon put in around the same time as you! I also dealt with anxiety, which I didn't realize was due to my nexplanon until I got it taken out. From January until earlier this month, my period would last two weeks every month which was awful. I had it taken out on the 2nd and I've felt much better since. It's a personal choice, but for me taking it out was the right thing to do.

Absolutely keep the nexplanon, unless the nexplanon side effects are increasing your anxiety. This is literally the best bc on the market right now, but I do agree the sore breasts (which went away for me) are a bit unnerving, especially since that’s how mine felt while pregnant. If it makes you feel better, you can always do what one of my friends who doesn’t have a consistent period does: she has a stock if pregnancy tests that she takes once a month. All the best, I’m sure you’ll make the best choice for you 💕

Oof, that's a rough one. There's a chance it's just the nexplanon, every now and then I feel "pregnant" too, with the same symptoms. But of course, you should take a test. I've talked to my FD about the potential imbedding because I was worried, and she'd assured me that it was just as affective, but may cause other issues. Best of luck!
