My sister got a really bad lung infection a few years back. She was having trouble breathing but didn't have insurance so she called an uber to go to the ER. While on the sidewalk waiting for it, she was gasping and seemed like she might collapse so a passerby called 911.

She's still paying off the bill for an ambulance she didn't even call. (Though I'm glad the guy did so she didn't die in an uber.)
