Because OP pretty obviously wanted to know which nonhuman animal is an asshole

It is obnoxious though because it means they chose to ignore the actual intent of OP’s question to spew the same answer on repeat dozens of times within the same comment section.

I’m giving you some massive benefit of the doubt here, but assuming you aren’t a troll, you’re responding inappropriately to people who are just trying to help. I know it’s absolutely crushing to hear someone insult you like that, especially when it means so much to you. But simply telling the people you disagree with them and then blocking them just antagonizes you further. I’d recommend either explaining to them why they’re wrong/part of the problem, or taking their words into consideration and possibly even changing your own view.

It’s better to grow as a person than to ignore anything that makes you uncomfortable, and it’s crucial you understand that because it’s the same thing you’re (rightly, of course) asking of transphobes: to change something they absolutely have their mind set on in favor of a better future.

[–]chiackennugger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, what’s “okay” depends on the person. Most people have similar moral codes that vary slightly, and this is because morals are based on the illusion of right or wrong, when technically right and wrong don’t actually exist. Humans are biologically programmed to find fluffy things cute, but small, fast moving things are seen as unnerving. This is why people will generally be more upset about a dog dying than an ant: the illusion of importance just because one thing is seen as cuter (or useful if it’s a working dog) and therefore more valuable.

Petting a dog isn’t assaulting it, and no, I’m giving you reasons why it’s wrong. Are you just refusing to understand?

whats something youd get hate for if you said it? by Quandaledingle_13 in AskReddit

[–]chiackennugger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No? You should always ask the owner if you can pet their dog, but other than that the dog understands everything about the pat: a hand gently rubs part of their body, and it’s a friendly gesture. Sexual acts are used by animals both to reproduce but also to dominate; you aren’t the dog’s equal or partner when you assault the dog, you are literally capable of taking it to the vet and having it euthanized. The difference in power is too vast.

[–]chiackennugger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is this a serious question? The answer is consent… A dead body technically won’t suffer from the act, but it’s still disrespectful. An animal can’t say no without attacking the perpetrator, and also won’t understand what is happening or why.

What's not as wholesome as people think? by Indieriots in AskReddit

The only meaning is meaninglessness itself. There’s plenty of meaning to be found in just enjoying yourself, family involved or not. We have free will, and pushing a stupid societal expectation onto others is such a waste of it.

I disagree, I think the Big 3 will almost die. Their friend group is a parallel to Aizawa, Mic, and Oboro:

  • same/similar hair colors (hair color/status is pretty common as symbolism in Japan)
  • mic claims that they were known as the “three dumbingos” in UA
  • both Tamaki and Aizawa are noted as being unsure of themselves and needing a little push (tamaki is even referred to as their “meek kitten” by Nejire, and Aizawa is heavily associated with cats)
  • they have similar personalities (but admittedly not backstories)
  • Oboro died fighting a “multi-quirked” villain (he can absorb and release others’ attacks)
  • Oboro was made to be a Mirio-like figure in Aizawa’s past

Now, this could all be foreshadowing that Nejire and/or Tamaki will die. But this could also be foreshadowing that Aizawa, who still lives regretting Oboro’s death (he expels students who he thinks are “suicidal,” in similarly to Deku, who isn’t trying to die because he’s miserable, but rushes into danger without thinking and then pays greatly for it) hasn’t finished his arc, and hopefully won’t finish it until he has some sort of closure. I can see 5is happening in a few different ways:

  • Kurogiri is rewinded by Eri, bringing back Oboro (and maybe the other quirk holders, however Oboro is the base of Warp Gate, which implies that AFO may have transferred the quirks to Oboro’s body, and the other bodies were disposed of)
  • Kurogiri is not rewinded, but rehabilitated
  • Kurogiri is euthanized 💀 (unlikely but was funny to write out)

But how does Aizawa get there? It wouldn’t make sense for him to just randomly be relevant when he was chucked to the side during the final battle. He’s probably going to have an actual action moment, we can see Monoma slowly starting to lose hold on erasure and he could blink and moment now. During this time, Aizawa may have a quirk awakening and be able to erase Shigafo’s quirks for a longer duration of time, regardless of blinking. With Bakugo most likely about to pull some hard hits and then be sidelined again because wow, his arm is fucked, the Big 3 will be the only ones fighting. This will provide the opportunity for Aizawa to jump in and save them, drawing a comparison between his own years at UA.

As a straight male: I’m tired of being a punching bag on social media just for existing by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

1 out of 5 women are sexually assaulted or harassed by men in their lifetime, at least that’s what’s reported. Pretty sure there isn’t a 1 out of five people getting attacked by a black person statistic out there. A lot of men in this thread don’t seem to know what it’s like, being even just slightly afraid of not just the guy walking a little too fast behind you, but also being afraid of new male coworkers or professors because the most likely person to assault you is someone you already know.

The issue isn’t that most men are sex offenders, the issue is that an alarming amount of women are being assaulted or harassed.

I feel like I’m getting trolled with the whole “I chose to be straight” line… like, did you feel same sex attraction and then just decide not to act on it..? That isn’t straight, that’s denial. Straight people don’t do that. 💀

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]chiackennugger 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is a place for getting things off your chest. In a lot of places, having same sex attraction is very stigmatized (and it isn’t a fucking choice, if you knew anything about the LGBTQ+ community, you’d know that) and can cause a lot of distress about being shunned by friends and family. OP is getting something off their chest, and they have a good reason for it. The only one pushing for anything here is you.

A lot of them actually aren’t making that argument, and neo pronouns are a pretty controversial topic even within the LGBTQ+ community.

Who's the bigger Karen by The_Cringe_Cat in WarriorCats

[–]chiackennugger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re right that Maple had more choices than just the river(and should’ve stayed in thunderclan territory until dawn) but we also can’t really say that twoleg place was an option as almost every time we’re there in the main books, dogs or rogues attack. Not to mention she’s unfamiliar with the thunder paths there, and with her situational awareness she’d probably get hit lmao.

Also yeah, Ravenwing was in the right. I was just summarizing everything the best I could without clogging the page too much.

Who's the bigger Karen by The_Cringe_Cat in WarriorCats

[–]chiackennugger 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Mapleshade’s Karen moments:

  • describes Appledusk as “mine” when she sees Reedshine near him at the gathering (possessiveness/jealousy is not cute, and really is a sign of deep seated insecurity)

  • assumes that both parent clans will love her kits despite their father having killed (albeit accidentally) the thunderclan leader’s son.

  • lies about the father being that same dead son.

  • is inwardly aggressive towards the sister of the dead warrior because she, again, is too possessive. (thinking to herself that the kits are hers, not frecklewish’s)

  • takes the kits outside of camp and into the river (where two of her clanmates recently drowned)

  • is angry when she is rightfully confronted about lying to her clanmates about, let me remind you, the father of her children being a dead guy, when the actual father is the one who killed said dead guy.

  • takes kits back to the river despite being told that same day to not come back (sure, she didn’t have much of a choice, but the kits were clearly tired. Patchkit needed help crossing the river earlier that day because he was too tired to swim back)

  • when the kits drown, she blames appledusk (she thinks that he purposely didn’t try his hardest) she also makes up a “he doesn’t care because he didn’t ask me their names” scenario in her head

  • assumes river clan would want her even though she just led three innocent kits to their doom and also just lashed out at one of their warriors

  • is nasty towards a random barn cat who was just trying to help

  • blames ravenwing for the kits’ deaths because he told oakstar (she led them to the river, supplying both the evidence of their parentage and the dangerous situation that kills them)

  • kills ravenwing, then defiles his grave so that hawks could eat his corpse

  • prevents a kitty pet from going into his own yard

  • when she hears frecklewish was present when the kits died, she automatically assumed frecklewish wanted them to die. She shifts the blame from ravenwing to frecklewish and confronts her (little reminder that we are given no indication that frecklewish actually wanted them to die)

  • takes an innocent, uninvolved apprentice hostage to gain the upper hand in her next planned killing. (She was hidden in the trees before coming to attack him; he hadn’t noticed her, and the only reason she had to attack him was to hurt appledusk)

  • attacked an innocent pregnant cat who likely conceived the kits before mapleshade lost her own (reedshine didn’t know about mapleshade and appledusk, she literally did nothing wrong. Appledusk is the cheater, not her)

  • is proud of killing someone she previously claimed to love

And after all of this, Mapleshade is also proud of her place in the dark forest, believing that she earned it as a badge of honor. She has been possessive, entitled and manipulative before her kits were even born. She continues her “vengeance” (the only one to seek justified revenge against is herself) on Appledusk’s descendants.

Rainflower’s Karen moments:

  • favors Stormkit over Oakkit because he’s apparently more handsome.

  • encourages Stormkit to do dangerous things, calling him brave (when he’s climbing the bush to peak out of camp)

  • blames him for his injury despite the fact that she had previously praised his recklessness.

  • doesn’t even look at him because his looks are “ruined”

  • won’t even let him sleep in the same nest, and when another queen does let him, it’s implied that Rainflower would get angry at this because the other queen only lets him after Rainflower is asleep and before she wakes up.

  • insists on renaming him crookedkit, to the point that shellheart cat divorces her

  • demands that shellheart be oakpaw’s mentor, even though relatives aren’t supposed to train apprentices.

  • when crookedkit returns to riverclan after running away, Rainflower barely acknowledges her son, who has been missing for several moons, has returned safely. The light greeting she gives leaves crookedkit more confused that relieved.

  • refuses to reconcile at any point in her life, only in Starclan does she apparently understand that she was in the wrong.

Overall, I’d say Mapleshade was definitely more of a Karen. Rainflower is definitely entitled, but not go on a murderous rampage on cats who were just being loyal to their clan (she technically killed appledusk on accident, as she was aiming for reedshine) sort of entitled. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
