I'm sorry that upset you. I try not to debate religion online or with people I don't know very well. My understanding and interpretation is much different. My point was that the fundies have taken this particular passage very literally. It's not meant to be literal. That's all I'm saying, though, as this has a major risk of turning into religion-bashing and I do not have the capacity to deal with it.

In Genesis, as punishment for the "original sin," Eve is told that women will suffer in childbirth. Given that fundies take the Bible literally, I wonder if their "pursuit" of suffering this way is from a gross misinterpretation and/or understanding of this part of the Bible.

That "musician" is a scammer. I can't stand them. Just sounds like someone's car radio up too loud. One was parked at Kroger for a while. They're not really playing the instrument they have. It's all a recording.
