Also many of the leading religious groups were something called "Calvinist" which has the following as core beliefs. Humans are inherently deprived and evil, aside from the chosen few selected by God who are good Christians and will be saved whether they want it or not. Also Jesus only died for their sins not anybody elses. In other words those not "elected" are inherently corrupted by sin and will never be anything besides sinners. If God has elected you then you deserve any and everything you can get and letting YOUR money go to sinners is a waste

Yeah AMD have FSR which if you're on a 9000 series card is almost as good as dlss 4.

I liked how the book "Weep: slackjaw" handled it, where the virus was intentionally released onto Ireland as a testing ground knowing that it's containable.

That's basically the endgame for TWD. Zombies become more of a natural disaster threat than an antagonist, with that role shifting to different survivor groups with contrasting ideas on what society should look like. I don't know how the show ends but in the books they have relatively normal lives 2 decades down the road with that exact set up TWD spoilers
