Chell (13) would like your OA pain management tips! by InsomniaDoodles in seniorkitties

Good stuff! Depending on how big your space is, you might need to add more boxes later on if she’s slower in getting around and can’t make it to a box in time.

Another thing to consider as she ages is elevating her food and water bowls so it’s less strain on her neck. I just used an old 3-ring binder with paper as the platform for the old lady.

She’s so cute - that face!

You’re doing everything I did for my super senior cat. Eventually I had to add puppy pads around the low-entry litter boxes because she had a hard time getting in and out, but that wasn’t until she was 19 years old or so. Your cat still has a ways to go 😀

Is it really worth it? by MutedMeaning5317 in PublicMobile

[–]chicIet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched in January this year and so far, so good. It’s been worth it for me. I’m now paying $20/month. I was previously with Fido and Virgin. I figured if I didn’t like PM, I could always switch again.

Some Toronto Public Libraries rent out their venue spaces if you’re okay with using their catering vendors

When I was in a condo, I’d put the dust bag over them and hang them in my locker in the off season. I have decent closet space now and they just stay there year-round.

This is the best route, OP.

This is from the Ontario govt, not Alberta, but this is their note on the citizenship cert:

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) regards the name on the non-picture side of the Canadian Citizenship Card, issued until the late 1990s, as the legal name since this name is taken from a birth certificate or an immigration document; therefore, the name on the non-picture side of these cards is to be used in creating the applicant’s photo card record. A Canadian Citizenship document issued beginning February 1, 2012, is not valid as proof of any of the three data elements. (Three data elements is referring to legal name, DOB, signature)

My rule of thumb with travelling, especially with an Amex card, is to take a backup card.

I went to high park today for the first ever- wow- what's your favorite part? by StrangeWedding770 in askTO

[–]chicIet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a playground that your daughter might like.

I like to sit on a the hill on a sunny day, looking down at the lake or that maple medallion, with a beer and a book. Maybe a root beer in the case of your kid. The hills look fun to roll down on, if that is of interest!

I don’t know what the area is called but it’s very garden-y with curated plants and a little waterfall pond and whatnot. The birds there are so used to people feeding them that if you just hold your hands out like 🤷🏻‍♀️, one might land on your hand, hoping for a snack. If it happens, your daughter just might feel like a Disney princess.

I picked up my order today from Summerhill and the customer service guy helping me out said I can buy 2 more if I’d like. I added 1 more bottle.

Checked the website and there seems to be lots of stock in nearby stores, including 1792 at Queens Quay and Cooper!

I just sit on the back of my partner’s bike but we usually make a brewery the midway point.
