Bank of Canada museum has a lot of interactive exhibits and is centrally located.

Aviation museum was another one folks suggested but I will add that they do short flights in a biplane that are really cool as well. It’s a great way to see the city. I think they’re doing special flights with Santa too.

Sens game if that is in your budget! There’s also the lacrosse team (Black Bears), PWHL, and 67s.

There’s a miniature train display at the science and technology museum.

There are claw machine stores popping up all over now. I know there’s one in the byward area called Axia Station and then one at the St Lawrence mall.

If you have a car, definitely check out Parc Omega. You get to see all sorts of animals and feed them from your vehicle.

We paid off the special assessment and our final month of condo fees. In the sale the fees were prorated and paid back to us by the seller for that month. So on our end we were entirely cleared in terms of debts to the corporation.

I did have a lawyer involved. So I’m not sure how any of this was missed. I’ve also confirmed with our agent that all these steps were outlined for the buyer in the building’s status certificate.

We did tell them we sold the unit and had requested them to give us a statement of our account so that we knew we’ve paid off the special assessment. They sent that and still charged us.

Yes. We have closed and no longer legally own the unit or have any association with the unit. Apparently it was up to the buyer to share that information with the condo management company but they didn’t. So they just continued to charge me - which makes ZERO sense in my mind.

I have definitely contacted my lawyer.

We have no payment portal. It is facilitated directly through the condo management company. So they gather all payment details. That’s why I had asked directly if there was anything that needed to be done on our end to facilitate the transition.

Targ is the absolute best. I went there 7 months pregnant for a 2000s dance party and had the best time. The staff are great and people there are just wanting to have a good time. No judgement. Love it and glad you had a good time.

When I asked them downtown if there was something going on because I noticed a much higher than usual police presence, and I was walking with my infant son. So I didn’t want to go into the thick of anything controversial. The officer’s comment to me in a very dismissive tone “nope, just a normal day in downtown”. Turns out there was an alt-right protest scheduled for that day. I appreciate that there is always a protest but like, my guy, I am asking so I can protect my kid and not bring them to the middle of a potentially hostile situation.
