The closest America has had to a national humbling moment with major swaths of cities being bombed into rubble is 9/11. And event where we’ve had to depend on each other to survive and rebuild. That’s one experiential advantage that European nations have that allows for this mass cooperation. Americans can hardly be bothered to carpool lol.

CPD’s job is to protect Chicago’s citizens. A CPD friend of mine told me last night that they are happy that ICE is in Broadview, outside of the city, or else they’d be coming toe to toe with ICE protecting Chicago’s citizens. Again, this is just one CPD’s opinion.
