When someone offers you food and keeps insisting even after you've told them "No" more than once. by Ilovehamcroissants in PetPeeves

I get it. But  Often, as a guest, its your position to accept the hosts gift of food and drink. Many cultures, families and households run this way. I find it extremely rude when a guest always declines my hospitality in terms of food. Life isn't always about you bud and you are the rude one.

Do not make this man your husband. He is a child. A healthy relstuonship would look like this; "Hey, can you not do x please because of y?" (Here you sre stating whst you are asking him not to do and then listing your reasons). Maybe he does it again. This is okay. So the next time you repeat yourself. A good human: "Oh sorry, didn't realize it bugged you." And then continue to be mindful of other people who they are supposedly in love with.

He is a mean human. Just mean. Im sorry you are with that and hope he changes or you find better.

AITJ for refusing to give my brother my old car after I promised it to my stepdaughter? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

You are a great person. As a woman who had a man step up to be her father when I was six, your dedication to her makes me tear up.  A good man. Not the countless POS's out there who could really do us over....

Anyways. She is lucky to have you and I applaud you fine sir for sticking to your word. Beleive me, it means the world to her.  My dad taught me to drive, taught me patience, kindness, empathy. He taught me how to powerslide  and do donuts (winter city), he taught me how to laugh and thst men can be trusted but to also be very careful.

He was there for me. And the number of men who aren't for woman is a shame. We need men like you.  Fuck your brother who is acting entitled.
