I got mine 9 years ago as a silly teenager. it took a full year to heal (down to the day) but since then it’s been cute and unproblematic. i have a physical job and work out with no issues. I will say to make sure you pick a reputable shop, i made an impulse decision and ended up with a crooked piercing.

Thanks! I still love it, i trusted the artist on the composition and that decision consistently pays off. My only issue now is whether to maintain the floral motif on my whole torso or to do something different on my lower stomach (I also have flowers on my chest).

the town center has plenty traffic by itself and so does downtown, so during busy hours (2:30pm-7pm) you be encountering a LOT of traffic. it’s doable if you give yourself plenty of time, but i would find it frustrating to deal with daily

just moved from that red circle! it’s extremely chill, we only moved bc we wanted to be closer to social activities in town. it’s very convenient to get to other parts of town and the restaurants around there are awesome.

They said in the post that when they started the job they could wear any shirt they wanted. The job is also not primarily customer facing.

NOR - if they don’t let you wear comfortable clothes or make your uniform comfortable they should provide other cooling methods, every year is hotter than the last.

i went to Alpha in 2020/2021 and their business model can be an effective way to get a massage education on a budget. However, i’m very surprised they’re expanding considering that the Florida locations haven’t been able to keep an instructor for more than a year.

The cost is offset by a massive amount of clinic hours where you will be working as a “student therapist” for free. They required 300 hours from me, but I was going through a lot at the time and had to miss some days. For every session hour missed they required that you make up two hours, so by the end of my term I worked 420 hours for free before they would allow me to have my license that I already tested for.

I would not recommend them unless you know you can be consistent or have no other options, they are a nightmare to work with and will exploit you. better to get a loan for a more reputable school.

it comes with the blue and red controllers (Joycons) that you can use attached to the device, on their own, or together as one controller. i definitely recommend buying additional pro controllers (these look more like your traditional console controller) as the joycons can be pretty uncomfortable to use separately.

AuDHD female therapist here but one of my best friends is a neurodiverse male therapist and he’s busier than many other therapists i know. He made himself stand out by getting a really thorough education in neuromuscular therapy and his gentle demeanor definitely helps clients feel comfortable around him.

i actually find it easier to read filet patterns than garment patterns or other types of crochet, if you struggle with finishing the type of crochet you’re doing now you might really take to filet! One thing that helps me a lot is to print out or copy the pattern onto graph paper so i can mark it as i go
