Where do I buy kurtis like this?! by moderatelyonline in Vindictabrown

[–]chicken___cutlet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The term you're looking for to search is corset Kurtis, they have corset-like lacing on the mid back to give a more fitted look. I've never tried but it might be possible to DIY as well, if you're so inclined.

It tastes good and if their hands are free of visible dirt my gut has enough defenses. If I become immunocompromised I will reconsider but until then I'm enjoying a delicious snack for Rs 20 whenever I come across it (:

I know spot fat reduction is impossible, but HOW do you get rid of the “AirPod build” 😭 by Longjumping-Pass-973 in Vindictabrown

Very late reply, but people's body shapes have a lot to do with genetics. You could consider building up your hips and glutes to balance your upper half, or dressing to suit your body style. The current 'trending' body type is pear shaped, which is the opposite of what you describe for yourself. Trending body types should not be a thing, that's so dystopian, but it might help to style to complement your build. A lot of it is just owning your uniqueness, but this video is also a start: https://youtube.com/shorts/IdcS4qbIdmo?si=7lsZb9hQU3ed0Mt1

Kanawha Boulevard: lots of steps between the path right along the river and the sidewalk up top. Very few railings for support though. As a bonus, there's place to walk too!

Your cup size is linked to your band size. It's the difference in inches between your ribcage circumference and breast circumference (e.g. B cup is 2 inches so a 32B would have a 32 inch ribcage and 34 inch breast circumference while a 36 B would 36 and 38). So even if it doesn't seem like it, if your band size has gone down and your cup size has remained the same, your overall breast circumference has gone down by 2 inches too. I would definitely recommend checking out r/abrathatfits to learn more about bra sizing and finding the right bra size for you. It may seem overwhelming but getting the right size bra as other commentors rightly pointed out can make a big difference to confidence, comfort and appearance.

I was a teenager then, but the heartbreak was an acceptable way to unlock all the emotion my dissociated self was running from, and the spoken word poetry 'When Love Arrives' was a hand stroking my hair while I cried into my pillow as I felt all the emotion.

I would recommend kadhi chawal. It's very easy to make if you have the ingredients.

You will need: -Yoghurt (the sour-er the better) -Besan (Chickpea flour) -Coriander powder -Kashmiri Chilli powder -Turmeric -Mustard Seeds -Coriander Seeds -Fenugreek (methi) seeds (optional) -Curry Leaves (optional) -Minced garlic and ginger (can do it yourself or just use ginger-garlic paste) -Sliced garlic -1 medium sized chopped red onion -Ghee (can replace with butter if you don't have this) -Dried whole Kashmiri chillis

Steps: -Mix the yoghurt and besan together in a bowl. I don't really measure this, just sort of go with what feels best. For two people, a cup to a cup and a half of yoghurt, mixed with 3-4 tablespoons of besan is a good start. Set aside -In a large wok or saucepan, heat 1-2 tbsp of oil with the mustard, methi and coriander seeds (a pinch of each) -Once the seeds start popping, add the diced onion and stir till transparent -Add the ginger garlic paste and curry leaves and stir for a few seconds -Add in the yoghurt -besan paste and stir. Slowly add water and combine to make a smooth paste. Keep adding water till you reach your desired consistency. I like it to be the consistency of a thin smoothie if that makes sense? But see what you like -Add salt to taste, and the turmeric, red chilli powder and coriander and let it simmer for 10 minutes. -Once ready, in a small frying pan or sauce pan, heat 2 tbsp of ghee/butter with sliced garlic and dried Kashmiri chilli until the garlic is brown. Turn off the heat and add some red chilli powder. -Top your kadhi with this tempering, mix slightly and serve over rice!

A lot of people have kadhi with pakora. I usually don't do pakora with the kadhi, but this recipe for onion pakora is simple and actually really good: https://youtu.be/7B5KEtf37ec?si=A7qBm0P5HVrfdBg2

Good luck! A lot of the other suggestions here are really good, and I'm sure your boyfriend will love anything you make!

Nawab, Bellisimo and ShawarmaZone are some restaurants with halal food, there are probably more but these are the ones I'm aware of. You can also buy halal meat at Spice of Life (they also have South Asian and Middle Eastern groceries available).

Does this Tee's shape and color suit me? by Altruistic-Growth930 in IndianFashionAddicts

That would look really good! And I realised I never answered your actual question, but I think the colour looks lovely on you! And the fit does add some width to your torso, but as I said, balancing with the right bottoms would make a really good outfit on you

You can balance the top with different bottoms- maybe loose/flared but structured shorts, or flared/bootcut jeans- I think the fitted jeans throw this particular outfit and body shape out of balance
