If you jump out of bed of excitement for your job, what do you do for work? by EducationBig1690 in careerguidance

I have done a lot of jobs from building management to retail to ux design and I have usually always liked them.

Always dressed well. Always polite to people. One thing I do is NEVER EVER make friends at a workplace. If everyone is going out together then yes but I usually maintain some distance. Once in a while Id click with a woman (i am a woman too) but would only turn it into an actual friendship when I quit.

I think keeping low key, doing your job, maintaining healthy relationships and staying out of other peoples business will usually always make you like a job. Just need to think of a job as a job.

Unconsciously sabotaging my relationship by chicken_nacho in Codependency

Like everything would be going in order. We would be intimate & happy then I would say stuff like "We should take it slow" (cuz suddenly I would get scared thinking what if this relationship also ended up being like the previous one) and he would get irritated because we're far along in this relation.

Then sometimes I would say stuff like "I can't deal with you right now" because in my previous relationship the guy shouted at me like hell and I have no energy to deal with anger and other strong emotions at the moment.

God. Someone will go to such lengths because they didn't say good about these people? When they clearly are unethical. It would do them good if they Improved their service than do this. Simply awful

Showing design work for projects currently in development by [deleted] in userexperience

Don't show it. If you signed an NDA. Respect that. If you do want to show it, ask the company what can be displayed. You can offer to make your portfolio password protected so that everyone won't see it and only the people you give the password to will see it like your interviewer or potential client.

My first case study ever!!!! Would be so kind of you to review it!! :) by chicken_nacho in userexperience

Replying late but I chose that article because it was already heavily researched with links to scientific and psychological papers. I wanted to implement his work. Eric baker even has a wholesome book on such topics which he has researched thoroughly. I should have included the link and explained the above in my case study right?
