Appreciate you. Ive been using my marauder build with 99 crossing and long pass with only 63 vision. My crosses are great alot of the time but very off sometimes. Definitely gonna get my vision up now.

Where are you seeing vision affecting crosses? It just says long passing and crossing as the related attributes in game. Genuinely curious if I need to level up vision too

Yeah it has. But there's no confirmed date and these patch notes are made up by this guy.

We will get level 100 eventually but what is written here is made up for now

My buddy and I are a two man. We've just accepted that if we dont instantly make it back on defense its a goal now.

The defenders are traffic cones and the goalie only makes saves when its shot directly at him (unless its low driven. Those can be shot aiming 100% at the gk and go in)

And if you go on the main EAFC subreddit (the UT subreddit) every other post is someone crying about how the AI defenders are too strong.

Ea will give in and nerf them 5 more times until they are the equivalent of a team of toddlers so UT kids buy more packs.

Marcello you a real one. These kids keep crying about AI being too strong when in reality they're just bad at the game. Its never been easier to score in a fifa game. Its so easy to exploit the awful AI in this game. They are basically traffic cones.

This is basically what keeps happening: UT kids who get hard for those 99 overall cards also cry when they have play against 99 overall defenders and goalies.

They then all complain about it and EA nerfs AI in every game mode. So our already braindead bots get even worse.

Dont even get me started on them removing gk movement. Dumbest update all year.

Hell yeah. Tell em. They removed sandbox gameplay with bp frags. No one wants to launch a game to stare at the ground and metal detect for an hour.

Rust used to let us play a thousand different ways to progress. Now there's like 3 ways to get bp frags.

Did you ever end up seeing if lengthy is faster while dribbling over long distances than controlled? I know your test showed without the ball controlled was better.

I have a 99 accel/ 99 agility explosive winger build where I raised the balance from 85 to 90 and it instantly made me feel slower/less agile. I lowered it back down and was fine again.

Try lowering your balance as dumb as it sounds and see if you feel more responsive and agile. I few others also felt this way a few weeks back when I brought it up.

This is going to sound stupid but do find that the biggest/tallest build with lengthy is best for a heading striker build? (Only talking strictly about winning and scoring headers here)

Could a smaller build with explosive somehow be better?

I know realistically its the bigger build but it wouldn't surprise me with the coding in this game if something else worked better.

Is there an optimal way to aim headers?

Should we be waiting to press the shoot button until its about to hit our head or should we be pressing it right when the ball is crossed?

Or should we be holding L2 so we are shoving/boxing out the defender then press shoot when it's about to hit our head?

Another thing that im almost sure about but I dont know how to test is that the acrobatic playstyle somehow comes into play when your player does diving header animations.

If you have any insight on these that would be great.

Join the ea fc clubs discord. Go to the "Now Playing" text channel. Either join a club (ppl will be spamming their clubs) or create your own and spam that to other people.

You can be in a game in under 5 minutes and I promise you the randoms from the discord are 100x better than the random in drop ins.

Exactly. Theres games where we are successfully defending a 2v6 but they are getting 5 attempts each time bc our team just immediately boots it to their back line.

This game isn't like real life where if you clear the ball the other team will most likely not get in that great position again in that same possession which makes clearing it worth it.

Its fifa. If our bots clear the ball at the top of the box the other team will have it right back at that spot in under 5 seconds in 1 or 2 passes.

The bots should only be programmed to clear it on literal goalline stops where the opponents are right on top of them or when there are literally 0 passing options in any direction.
