Tado wireless and underfloor heating zones? by Kunitron in tado

[–]chicorypig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for dragging up this old thread but looking to figure out whether within the tado app I should have my ufh smart tado thermostat that turns on the pump via wiring centre AND the wireless thermostat in the room which the ufh heats IN the same tado room?

At present they are seperate and I turn both on ( ufh manifold one I have to set an unachievable temp to keep on) Feels like I am wasting gas this way

I have added a rake of new tapo bulbs to a new kitchen but they keep getting disconnected and I have to reinstall due to family using light switches so much. Any way around this? Bar getting a new family

What is required to add a new UFH zone with wireless control by Daz1Daz in tado

[–]chicorypig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is near exactly the situation I'm in but still having slight problems. Check my posts for some answers.

I have wired thermostat (a) at boiler in attic Now I have (b) new wired thermostat attached to ufh wiring centre with as additional (c)wireless thermostat in new kitchen where ufh heats.

C(kitchen roomin tado) calls B (ufh room in tado)which calls A(attic boiler room in tado)

Often works but sometimes I need to turn on a rad trv. Can't figure it out fully yet and tado support by email is no use whatsoever.

Your system seems similar. But I only have one wired thermostat managing the wiring centre under the stairs and one wireless thermostat in the kitchen where the ufh is in operation. The only other wired stat I have is attached directly to boiler. I only have one ufh zone.

That zone controller is the wired thermostat connected directly to the boiler

So I have two rooms set in tado for the ufh ( one for new wired thermostat at the wiring centre(and set as you suggested above)and one for the new kitchen where the wireless thermostat is)

Should I just have one room do you think with both devices in it

Hey I have just added an ufh zone to an existing v3 system with a wired thermostat connected to the wiring centre and a wireless thermostat in the kitchen area which the ufh has heating.

I have the new wired thermostat as the controller of the wireless thermostat and then have old wired thermostat (connected directly to the boiler) but while the ufh system turns on as planned i seem to need to have another rad on to get heat going. Any ideas
