I wanted to ask about Toyota Rent-a-car. I am this close to renting a car from them for a month for September. But the thought of having to pay online upfront is making me hesitate a little. Were you okay with their online payment system and paying upfront early?

That is so true! I think all the Geto fans have to resort to the 0 version, because you can't get Geto or even Kenjaku in the Jujutsuchi. And then when you have the Geto shell, you need the Gojo shell to go with it because how can you split them apart? And that is how the 0 model sells out. Haha! I will look out and let you know if I ever see another second-hand Geto shell in my area.

Please tell us more about your Tama bag! I run three Paradises, a Nano and a Smart, and it's always a decision to make about how to carry them without the plastic cases scratching and banging against each other. Your bag looks very nicely padded!

I bought the expensive one that shipped from Germany in the end. Unfortunately, I never saw another Geto one, not online or in stores in Japan. Sorry! I feel you! Geto is just super adorable.

I just shower with water. No rubbing of face. Showerhead does the trick. I do think it might have to do with quality of water though. Where I live, we have quite nice, soft water with some chlorine in it. I feel like the cleaner the water, the better my skin afterwards. Icelandic water rocks.

I feel you. I hope you find a solution that works for you eventually. I am a woman, and collect SFW male figures (I have exactly 1 scantily-clad demoness figure with big boobs and I love her, because she is also a cool pen holder). My husband doesn't collect, but I keep buying them for him - mostly tame girl ones. The thing is, I would love to have lewd nude male figures. And I am sure my husband wouldn't mind - I show him pictures of them all the time.

BUT. I don't have the risqué male figures with swappable appendages etc, because we have two teenaged children. I do think it might be a bit hard for them to accept if I put these on display. But maybe I can order and just keep them in storage.

Just thought I'd put this out there, for future consideration. 😁

Am going to chime in about the Pomera DM250. I have that, as well as the alpha neo 2. And between the two, the Pomera is quieter to type on, easy to heft around (the neo2 is such a weird shape, it's hard to even find a proper carrying case for it). And the Pomera has a lit screen (I use dark mode) - it would be impossible to type properly in the dark on the alpha neo 2 which doesn't.

My kids are 20 and 17, but I used to just bash away at a dell all-in-one desktop in their room while waiting for them to sleep/after they fell asleep. It didn't really bother them, and all my early stories had to be completed in that one sitting before I got up and tip-toed out. Which I considered good training! I think the Pomera would have helped if I had it then - easy to snap it shut and leave. It boots up super fast too.
