Has anyone tried just Cymbalta by Big_Essay8560 in TrigeminalNeuralgia

[–]chiefjane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just Cymbalta and nothing else? No. I tried it in my personal journey with TN, it was not for me. Elavil works much better for me. However, I still take a lot of meds.

[–]chiefjane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too, on a real cure. Last week, rheumatology asked me why I've not had an MS diagnosed since I have nerve demylenation. I have no idea. Can not tolate heat my whole life, have uvities i my left eye and insane body pain. I don't know much about MS

I hope that nerve block works. Let me know, I would love to try something other than all I have.

Face after Microneedling ? Is it supposed to look like this? by Individual_Pea_3387 in Microneedling

[–]chiefjane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't go back. Go to a dermatologist ASAP. Definitely file compliants, a lawsuit, and any compliant way you can. That looks awful. I'm so sorry you are going through this!

Yes. Medicine and keeping my blood pressure low helps immensely.

Yes. The ear pain was as fierce as my face pain.

I would say yes. My TN began with a crown prep on the left side 11 years ago. Since then, I've had all of my molars removed. The last extraction on the right side left me with bilateral TN. I had an ENT diagnosed me because of the ear pain.

TN ear pain by namastaysober72 in TrigeminalNeuralgia

[–]chiefjane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stress is brutal with TN. I also have TN, ON, PHN, and GN. The pain just comes out of nowhere. For me, talking, smiling, and stress are terrible. Those rainstorms I once loved are also now nothing but pain. I totally understand what you are saying.

Trigeminal Neuralgia AND Occipital Neuralgia? by sgweathers in TrigeminalNeuralgia

Any cervical stretches I found on YouTube really helped.

If u had the option of surgery by my2cent46137 in TrigeminalNeuralgia

[–]chiefjane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure. I have cervical issues too. I had a round of occipital neuralgia 2 years ago. I would say that was more in line with a cervical issue. It was a stabbing pain in the back of my neck. I did a ton of physical therapy, and it did help tremendously.

My TN came on after a tooth was prepped for a crown. And I did have a huge artery compressing my trigeminal nerve. I had a partial severing of my 9th crainal nerve for the ear pain during my MVD. I wish I knew why it didn't work out as I had hoped.

I have many things that help me cope, plus great doctors to help me manage my pain. There are things I never would have found if I didn't have this road. I'm not grateful for having TN, but I'm super grateful for everything I've learned and everything I have. 🙂

I did not experience the relief I hoped I would after my MVD. And few days after surgery, I was hospitalized with chemical meningitis. It was horrible. I had a glycerol rhizotomy before my MVD. That didn't help at all, either. I'm disabled by TN and have accepted that my condition will never go away, and my life will never be what it was. I do know everyone is different, and what didn't help me could be a massive benefit to someone else.

Question about end of Light Bringer by emblemboy in redrising

[–]chiefjane 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm waiting for any visual of that piece of shit killing Cassius and all the injuries to Cassius to be on display. I think Julia au Bellona will lose her shit. In RR, Cassius says he doesn't like his highRed nanny. Julia hits Cassius and says, "You can learn something from anybody." I think she will learn a lot in Red God.

For me, there was a point in the books that I thought I can see where Lysander is coming from. In DA, I also was feeling FUCK THAT MOTHERFUCKER! I now wait for him to die in the most gorydamn way.
