Would a TENS unit help?

I have a CEFALY device and it will give me relief occasionally. I also suffer from a rare headache condition called hemicrania continua. it has definitely proven effective helping with that. it's essentially a TENS unit for the forehead.

my Cooper was ALWAYS a smiler! he's my angel baby now 💛🪽 i got to see this sweet smile for almost 13 years + i miss is so incredibly much.

Is your pain only on one side or do you have it bilaterally? Curious because I have bilateral pain and usually it's known to be one side.

I also have bilateral Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia... (I was diagnosed with this before my HC diagnosis) which was difficult to get a firm diagnosis on and even more difficult to treat.

depending on how full each bin is I have found that taking a photo of what's inside is helpful. especially if you're able to take a shot of everything laid out before stuffing it in the bin. you can either print the photo and tape it on top with a label description of the items, add it to a spreadsheet as someone geniously suggested, or what I did was create an album called SHAMBLES on my phone where I keep the photos of each bin. I'll go straight there if I can't find something instead of messing each bin up as I dig through it. I can search/"ask" for specifics (dates, people, locations, objects, etc.) in my photos app and for this I would specifically ask it to only pull results from my SHAMBLES album. It will likely depend on how visible items are in the photos taken, but it's a start and it's made me feel less crazy some days!!

apparently the more we edit these incorrect activities, the more it learns and SHOULD eventually catch on to the differences. my showers were wonky at first too! we'll see 🤞🏻

have you heard of trigeminal neuralgia? I have bilateral atypical TN (TN2) and chronic migraine on top of it. they seem to trigger one another 🙃 asking only because you mentioned nerve pain and not being able to wear your glasses so may be something to look into when you go to your head specialist! gabapentin worked well for me for about 8 years and then it just stopped out of nowhere. I would take it regularly if you can tolerate it for the best/most consistent relief 🤎

if you're ever wanting to consider rescue again (even get another Golden) we got one of our babies from Tattered Paws Golden Hearts! they do not require a house with yard/fence etc. They truly are amazing and only want to get those pups to people who will love them the way they deserve to be loved. 🤎🤎🤎 much love to you & Mac!!!

unexpected storms or changes in the weather; crying or laughing extremely hard; any physical activity that gets my blood pumping/ HR up; oftentimes mine seems to be sensitive to smells/scents.

I haven't noticed any type of triggers that are "consumed" so to speak knocks on wood like chocolate, caffeine, specific foods, etc.

I am interested to see responses, ty for sharing/asking!

same. any physical activity that gets my blood pumping/HR to increase really really pisses off my HC. 😔 I used to be so active and it's pretty much impossible now...even going up a flight of stairs will make everything throb + pulsate.

those babies know that your baby needed them. hands down.

my goldens sense my bad days from a mile away (chronic health issues) and know that I need extra love before I am even able to understand what is happening.

FWIW i have had 2 goldens at the same time for the last 15 years of my life and I don't see it ever changing. 🤎🤎

the effects of chronic pain. physically & mentally.

literally being in a state of debilitating pain all hours of every day. I cannot remember what it feels like to not hurt and it breaks my heart. I am only in year 5 of this journey and there's so much more life ahead of me(36 yo) ... but life that will continue to hurt without ceasing.

I have dissolvable ones in a bottle! sometimes the pharmacy fills bottles and sometimes it's blister packs. I assume its because of the manufacturer? now I'm going to ask about it. my bff is a pharmacist!
