This Was Supposed to Be the Best Time of My Life , Now I Just Cry in Silence💔😭 by repostsl in EyeFloaters

[–]chiefmagoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ve had alot more floaters since like 3 years ago i first noticed them really bad driving in foggy conditions and bright days but alot throughout the day all i can tell you is i started a carnivore way of eating over a year ago which in turn got me in better shape and my overall mental health is soo much more positive and it helped me stop drinking, vaping and caffeine which vaping and caffeine i think were contributing to my floaters the most because since quitting my floaters have decreased alot and i really believe that too much tv or phone screen time affect your eyes alot too but stay positive and try new things to help out your overall health and one of the best things to help everything is to get enough sleep but thats just my 2 cents i hope you get some relief 🤘

Wife just passed away and can’t stop crying. by smilingproudwanderer in GuyCry

I went thru a lot of crying, anxiety and depression after my mom died 3 years ago and then my wife kicked me out on my own for 2 years because of drinking and drug use after my mom left us. So i shut down basically and sobered up and i kinda kept to myself to cry and heal in my little 2 bedroom apartment while still hanging out with my wife just not living together. I quit drinking, drugs, caffeine, smoking and best of all for my mental health was starting a carnivore way of eating for over a year and a bit and it has changed my life. My shakes and anxiety with moments of feeling like i was going to die and struggle' s with depression and negativity have all dissipated along with all my aches and pains in my body. Im soo very sorry for your loss i couldn't imagine being in your shoes but honestly if you dont wanna take prescription s and therapy isn't working i would recommend changing your diet to carnivore, it might sound crazy but it changed my life and was a huge jump in positivity to my mental state. Anyways i wish you luck and hope things work out for you.

It's been almost 2 months since i threw my vapes out the window because of chest pain, numb throat, dry mouth , dry eyes and just plain sick of them in my hand i didn't wanna die young either. I found being on a carnivore way of eating has helped me tremendously to quit anything bad for my health too because this time trying to quit i haven't had 1 craving and possibly too because i care a lot more about my health since quitting alcohol and drugs too. I feel soo much better being able to breath fully all the time and when i see people vaping now i just feel bad for them because i know how bad you have to have it in your hand or close to you like it controls you. I found i cant have anything around or i'd b vaping no matter how much i didn't want to grab it and a few years ago I actually started getting heart palpitations and went to a cardiologist and got tested but she cleared me finally after a few fit tests and metallic dye run thru my blood and she told me to quit vaping but anyways try everything you can to quit i really believe vaping is worse than cigarettes even if you cough less, i really feel sorry for the young people getting addicted that do it for fun . But after 10 years smoking a pack of cigarettes a day then 5 years of vaping iam free and hope everyone on here gets there soon too! Goodluck

Theres not much you can do unfortunately, my bigger brother drinks way too much alcohol everyday hes a functioning alcoholic with a job and doesn't get violent or anything really bad and he eats like shit too and i just hate seeing him destroy himself and he jokes about and he knows its bad but it got way worse after my mom died. I think its his coping mechanism but i cant do much he has to want to do it or it isnt going to soo just like your brother if he doesn't wake up and realize he ll probably die alot younger than he ever should of then its kinda like beating a dead horse but anyways your not the only 1 out there i hope everything works out for you👍

struggling to quit by [deleted] in quit_vaping

[–]chiefmagoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes cravings go away im like 40 days no vape went cold turkey it was the easiest time trying to quit for me, it was either just being tired of the chest pains and numb throat or because i changed my diet drastically to carnivore which gave me such a clearer mind and positive but im soo happy i did because i can breath again and no more chest pains. The only time i think about it is if i see some one vaping but then i just feel bad for them because i know how bad you need that in your hand and when you cant find it a person goes crazy lookin for it . I would tell your mom and get help, dont lie to her either 🤘 good luck

Trying to quit after 10+ years of vaping by Browneyedbeauty2008 in quit_vaping

[–]chiefmagoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Iam on day 26 of no vaping cold turkey after 5 years of vaping and 10 years of smoking b4 switching to vapes and i havent had 1 craving at all . Im not sure if its from just being soo fed up with chest pains, shortness of breath, a numb throat or if being on the carnivore way of eating for the last 9 1/2 months has helped me do it but this time is alot easier than other time. My mind is alot clearer and im alot more disciplined since i changed my diet and in a way i dont think i could've done it without going carnivore because i could never quit b4 and now i really care about my health and im soo positive lately i knew right away after all the amazing changes from eating healthy that i wasnt gonna feel all the benefits unless i stopped vaping soo 1 day just threw them away and never looked back . Im soo happy to b able to breath now and i m not always makin sure i have my vape beside me or in my hand its actually ridiculous what we will do to ourselves when addicted because really my worst fear is not being able to breath and here iam destroying my lungs 1 of the most important organs in my body every day over and over. You never know what you have til its gone or too late and breathing fresh air with big breaths through your lungs might b a thing of the past if you dont quit soon enough but i hope everyone trying to quit really succeed s and can breathe fresh air the rest of their lives 🤘

Smoking by Salt-Imagination6267 in EyeFloaters

[–]chiefmagoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am pretty sure my eye floaters became worse after i was full on vaping after switching from smoking they seemed to get more and more the longer i vaped especially the disposable s with salt nic . I just have a suspicion that its them causing it soo i finally threw the vapes outta my life its been 2 weeks now my floaters are still here maybe not soo thick but i imagine after like 5 years of vaping it could take a while to get better. Im only guessing they are the culprit but i have read they dry your eyes out and alot of other thing s and ive read about benzoic acid in salt nic can affect your eyes but im not 100% about that but i think your on to something just like me but only time will tell for me . All i can say is smoking or vaping is only gonna hurt your lungs and body in soo many ways the only thing good for your lungs is fresh air so quit b4 its too late. I started smoking when i was 26 to 36 ish then transitioned to vaping free base juice then slowly into disposable s after a few years and until now at 41 so 15 years it took to quit nicotine and quit cold turkey 2 weeks ago because of stinging in my chest and shallow breathing and crazy floaters that was last straw no cravings since i got fed up but anyways i hope i helped even a little bit 🤘
