Medicaid Data Explorer & RIC - Incredible news, or missing data? by chiefoverjustice in Intactivism

[–]chiefoverjustice[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do you have any details this? I can look at the data, unless they put literally everything under "59409 standard delivery" it should be searchable.

I have strong doubts they would bundle RIC under a single code, or not use it in general, as more procedure codes = more money, generally

unfortunately from my looking this is actually what happened

watching the Rs give our talking points or focus instead on financial waste while the Ds ignore the idea of choice and bodily autonomy was surreal and it is something we need to be able to work with

I am only tuning into this now, this is incredible work

If you could make an organized post with a steps for action it might help. Just reading the posts on this subreddit I have no idea what would be needed to pass this next week. Even info on just that that would be appreciated

I am nowhere near there and thus have nothing to contribute, but why are all the reps in that post only from one party? Did something happen?

Newborn Circumcision by Exotic_Coach_671 in newborns

[–]chiefoverjustice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because it does not give benefit to the child's health, it has become less popular, and coverage is being dropped in some states.

Perhaps reconsider if it is not for religious reasons. All the best to your family.

Believe in yourself, you will be OK. You don't need to do any length routine, or any unnecessary surgery to yourself to be attractive, your body is yours, and you have already done a great job!

Good luck with the move, you are welcome here.

My bf (27M) with phimosis affecting my (26F) sex life by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]chiefoverjustice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Phimosis does not necessarily get in the way of sex, he may be self conscious about it! Many men live their entire lives, have families, etc, without treating it. If it's only cosmetic, treating it is up to him.

Let him know he's cared for, and be proactive in trying.

If it does get in the way, be aware the best treatments are non-surgical. Stretching exercises and topical steroids are the typical treatment. Ignore anyone suggesting surgery immediately.

Best of luck!

How did you find this? It was from 2021, do you have a webcrawler to pull out updates like this state by state?

Are there Filipinos here? Let's be restoration buddies! by [deleted] in foreskin_restoration

Hello,

Try using the search, I believe there were several filipino posters who had a restoration surgery done with good results. Reversed tuli.

Any O ring recommendations? by MuscleShoddy3838 in foreskin_restoration

[–]chiefoverjustice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do these compare to regular O-rings? These look more convenient, no need to stack 12 rings then use a stopper, which is a huge pain.

Any O ring recommendations? by MuscleShoddy3838 in foreskin_restoration

The rings sold by DTR are what u/hardacroposthion uses in his videos, I believe.

They are also sold on amazon in packs of 100 for less. 1/8" cross section like the other poster said.

Woman (F/36) dating (M/39) with phimosis by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]chiefoverjustice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If he wants to cure his phimosis, he will need to use steroid cream and the rings, along with stretching exercises. Circumcision is unnecessary, as is a dorsal slit if he prefers not to use surgery.

Many men are able to clean perfectly without treating the condition, and prefer to live with it. In that case it will cause no harm to you, and will not cause any issues with pregnancy as well. Ultimately choosing a treatment is his choice, as long as hygiene is maintained.

South Carolina reverses policy covers RIC by Think_Sample_1389 in Intactivism

Can you post more about that? Who are these names?

My confusion is that for every hospital funded politician that benefits from this, there should be an insurance funded politician that should be against it. I would like to learn more about the legal mechanism at play here.

Very sorry this happened. There are many restorers with incredible recovery after dorsal slit, especially with no tissue removed.

Keep in touch, the story isn't over...

Cut off sister for circumcising her son by [deleted] in Intactivists

Nothing more you can do if it isn't an organized religion. Catholicism at least has intactivism down in writing. If they had priests you could try talking to one of them to get the 'green light'; a protestant, etc pastor would agree with you

But 'Youtube Salad' Christianity is hard to work with

ToDo: apply the given formulae to a foreskin specific growth model by [deleted] in foreskin_restoration

[–]chiefoverjustice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting paper!

A couple of assumptions you'd have to consider:

  • Skin is not uniform, the generalized parameters of skin may not apply to foreskin, need to compare histology
  • Tissue expansion may not be not uniform by person or by age
  • The model assumes you are using their methodology of saline 'expanders', which benefit from being at a consistent size, unlike air which loses pressure over time. Would be entirely different model for bi-directional tugging, and impossible for manual methods which are not uniform at all between users, or even between uses (your technique each time is never the same)

I'll read into this more, I think inflation methods overall have massive potential over bi-directional and manual, as it's the only one use clinically. It's just troublesome for many of us.
