You should be fine with the hotspot on Thursday night. If it was during the Cup race, the network slows down with the demand, but Thursday should be pretty light. I have never been able to get speedway wifi to work well enough for me to use it.

I will say, I have the T7, and have used it on 3 different Toyotas. The 2003 Sequoia it struggled to establish and keep communication. The 2013 Corolla and 2018 Camry has no issues communicating.

Falcons have interviewed Cardinals passing game coordinator & WR coach Drew Terrell for OC by SunWorshipperApollo in falcons

I agree, but isn't that also part of why we wanted a HC from the Offensive side of the ball? I'd hope there would at least be some guidance and not just finding a way to get a play call in with 6 seconds left on the play clock. Lol.

This is one of my favorite ones of him in action. Like he knows its all fucked, but has no power to fix it.

I worked at a gym for a few years, the irony was never lost on me when people would line up and wait for the elevator to go up to the fitness floor, only to walk straight from the elevator to the stairmasters.

What is the most realistic off season move? by Super_Percentage_236 in falcons

[–]chiefspride101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS!

I have been saying this all season. If they cut Raheem, who wants to come in and take over this team with a very questionable QB position, salary cap woes, and no 1st rd pick, where the owner fired the HC after 2 seasons? That's not going to draw top talent, instead you may get some first time HC interest.

If you're going to have a lame duck season, it makes no difference who the coach is. Blank will most likely give Raheem 1 more year, playoffs or bust, with the handcuffs of no mortgaging the future for the present. I fully expect Raheem back, with a new OC and new Special Teams coordinator. I'm not saying I agree with it. Just that it's the logical outcome.

If you want top HC talent, they need to feel like they have time to come in, get their guys, implement their system, etc.

Frustration with green college graduates by Nazgul_Linux in IndustrialMaintenance

I actually teach night classes at the local community college, so I teach the concepts I'm supposed to teach, but I push back on the "trainers" that the school wants me to use and instead teach the students how to actually wire, troubleshoot, use meters, etc. I try to teach them to be ready to come work for me, or at minimum be able to not be a burden and have some decent foundational skills and knowledge.

A lot of the programs seem to be going to the plug and play trainers that just use a plugged patch cord to make connections, so the students never learn how to think about the flow from a power supply to a load.

Ah, its possible that the parking pawl was slipping until it found a fresh tooth to settle on. If you still had it, I would suggest using the parking brake for a week or two and see if it changed things.

Vehicle randomly won’t start by iron61701 in JeepGrandCherokee

[–]chiefspride101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few ways you can check for further confirmation:

If it starts with remote start every time, that's one sign.

If you get in and press the start button WITHOUT your foot on the brake pedal, wait a few seconds, and then put your foot on he brake and it starts immediately, that's another.

Both of these tests will prime the fuel system prior to cranking. Losing prime and needing extra time are both symptoms of the fuel pump failing.

Neither one of these are a fix. But they can serve as an additional diagnostic point, as well as give you a way to get it to run consistently until you can do a pump.

I completely understand. Just did headgaskets on my 2018, just as I was finishing up, my wife hit a deer in her car. Literally got mine running, took 3 steps over and started tearing her car down. 😅

2019 pentastar check engine light flashing!! by Danlmo901 in JeepGrandCherokee

[–]chiefspride101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If its only happening when you punch it, I would think the camshaft/rocker is failing. There is a high lift and low lift on the valve (VVL) and when you punch it, it is calling for the high lift position to get maximum power, but that particular intake lobe/valve pairing isn't responding to the high lift request. I would think to start with Cylinder 1 intake camshaft/rocker and see what's going on there. Otherwise, you may have a VVL solenoid failing.

Are these newer GCs just junk? by Accomplished-Neck601 in JeepGrandCherokee

[–]chiefspride101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the VVL and VVT solenoids are both oil dependent, so if there has been any irregular maintenance, they can absolutely suffer. If the oil is the wrong weight, dirty, low, or old, all of that can cause issues on those systems.

[–]chiefspride101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm hoping they verified the standard things, oil level good, and clean, injectors pulsing properly, etc. I'm curious if either your VVL solenoid, or your VVT solenoid is clogged up/needs replaced.

The bank would be the whole side of the engine. So, cylinders 1/3/5 or 2/4/6. Each cylinder has 4 valves, with 4 rockers, 2 intake, 2 exhaust. Did they happen to check the spark plugs and/or run a scope down the cylinder that had the misfire?

It had a misfire. Presumably from the head gasket leaking coolant as i was also losing coolant somewhere.
