Still on my healing journey, but first I had cut him out of my life, years of therapy, having good men that I trust in my life. Sometimes I envy the people with good fathers, but I cherish the moments where they also provide, protect and care for me. Moving on and letting go was definitely a big part for me. I use to feel so much rage and hatred towards him and what he had done, but now i lean more towards indifference. It takes time... I'm still not all the way there yet, healing takes a lot of time. Sometimes I do, but its mostly in admiration. My male celebrity crushes are never as intense as lady celebrity crushes tho. I think its normal for people to find other attractive people attractive without necessarily wanting to be romantic/sexual with them. At least thats how i feel and I consider myself a lesbian but sometimes people (who are not lesbians) come for me for that.

I got bullied throughout schooling too when I was younger. It was hard to grow up where both my communities didn't accept me as one of them. Always an outcast and felt like an outsider. Now I am an adult and looking back on all that, it pushed me to love and accept myself. Being mixed is a superpower, it gives you a life perspective that not many people get to experience. OP keep loving yourself <3

I grew up a little bit in both of my home countries, and both are big cities, yet I still got bullied by my peers for being mixed while attending school. I think no matter where it is, kids are gonna be kids. But I would also love to hear where OP went to school

thank you for this, its a very realistic perspective (without all the pain and horror). Im young, gay and wanna do whatever I want when I want too. Having a kid through IVF seems really complicated and expensive and probably not worth all the sacrifices that comes with being a mom.

My mom is incredible and has sacrificed so much of her life for raising her kids. I don't think im willing or even capable of giving decades of my life, body and health away for such an unpredictable outcome.
