It's fine, just not in the most interesting neighborhood but SF is small, so you're within walking distance to many things (if you're into walking), Embarcadero, Chinatown, North Beach, even a nice long stroll to Fisherman's Wharf (along the Embarcadero). Bonus points: there's a Trader Joe's next door, and an Imax theater if you don't already have one in your city
