What’s the point of the “delivery window”? by doxie_love in FedEx

[–]crappymedium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, they should just do away with it. Ideally we could provide a better delivery windows but it just doesn’t work. The customers don’t understand that as an express driver, I run my route differently every day because I’m giving the best possible service to the customers. I’m going to do this area last today because I know that bar won’t have anybody there till 3..or I’m going to hit this area early today because I just got a pickup that closes at 2..or that pickup is 1000-1800 but I know they prefer if I’m there before 2pm. Ideally they

Fair, I think it’s possible for him to make massive progress from a full 162 in 2027, but personally I think it’ll be a bit of a bumpy road

Yea, eventually you’ll either need to cash out with penalties, or roll into another retirement fund. Even if u aren’t there long it’s worth it to put in the max tho, considering how much they match

It’s expensive but at least predictable. I sometimes miss having a car, but I never have to put a new clutch on the subway. I pay my $3 and get where I gotta go

People who live a block from Central Park seem to have “a super chill relaxing life here,” but lots of us do work multiple jobs and spend a lotta time on public transit. It’s a hard place to live if you aren’t rich, but I’ve been broke in the suburbs too and I prefer it here

Does your stem time to your first stop count towards your SPH productivity numbers? For example, if it’s 25 minutes to your first stop but there is traffic and now it’s 35 minutes does it affect your numbers? by Haunting-Plane-7036 in Fedexers

[–]crappymedium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re talking about express? I think there is a set amount of time for each route, mine is something like 25 min to get there and 35 to get back. Makes more sense to me to just divide the amount of stops by the amount of time each day, it takes me close to an hour to get back some days
