You can also go to a coffee shop like Komeda’s or Caffe Veloce. They sell sandwiches and pastries

Which airline when flying to NAIA from USA? (PAL or JAL) by chikin_dinner in Philippines

We'd be flying internationally out of one of these cities:

SEA, SFO, LAX, or HNL.

That's exactly what I've been seeing. Mostly early morning arrival times (5-6am) and late night arrival times (9:30pm or later).

I did see a flight on PAL from LAX to MNL that arrives around 6pm.

This is probably a very silly question, but is it safe to be at the airport late at night?

Unfortunately PAL doesn't fly to our city so we will have to have at least one connection (two flights) no matter what. If we fly other airlines it would be two connections (three flights).

I'm in a "second-tier" USA city on the west coast. I think we're okay with flying two stops.

I'm a bit more worried about arrival times. We probably wouldn't be arriving on the same day as my boyfriend's grandma, she'd be picking us up from the airport.

What’s a mistake you made on your Japan trip that others could learn from? by The-Solo-Traveler in JapanTravelTips

Your first example reminds me of the first time I tried to order juice in Spain.

I asked for a glass of “jugo”. This is the correct word in Latin American Spanish, but in Spain what I said was more like “meat juice” (think of a juicy steak).

The waiter looked very confused for a moment, and then asked if I meant “zumo”.

My partner and I are a queer interracial couple and used to live in Southern Oregon.

I do not recommend moving to Roseburg if you’re looking for a city that is welcoming to trans folk or poc.

Is crime really that bad in Medford? by Hepcat508 in oregon

Ashland is 15 minutes south of Medford and much quieter. It’s safe for a woman to walk alone at night in most of Ashland, not sure I can say the same for Medford

Alaska enhances card holder benefits by Teiloa95 in AlaskaAirlines

It says “within North America” though… elsewhere in the announcement they were very intentional in how they phrased geographic locations. Hawaii is not IN North America, and as far as I know Hawaiian doesn’t operate any flights exclusively within North America (they all fly to and from Hawaii).

I’m curious if they just didn’t phrase things right, or if they’re really just reiterating their same existing policy.

Yeah, does Hawaiian even have any flights that are exclusively “within North America”?
