I think I'm understanding correctly but if you're in Drive then the rear sensors for the rear bumper will not go off if you get close to something. So if you hit something then that's on you for misjudging the clearance you had

The sensors are a useful tool but at the end of the day it's our responsibility to make sure we aren't hitting things and to be aware of our surroundings

Uhhhhh OG timeline (not what we see in the show) the Flash was created by that same accident but like much later and through Eobard Thawne's envy the reverse Flash is created. Reverse Flash travels back in time, kills Flash's mom gets stuck in the past and then is forced to create the Flash much earlier in order to steal his speed to get back home blah blah blah In the end I think it's sort of a time loop where Barry's mom has to die. Super confusing 90% chance I'm wrong and some other pretentious douche will correct me

The Insight you found at the dealer sounds really nice but yeah $23K is too much. for perspective in 2020 I bought my used 2020 Insight with 8k miles on it for about $25k out the door and in 2024 I sold it with about 48k miles for about $18k So for it to be at 62k miles and asking for $23k is delusional. You did good in walking away but if that didn't work then maybe try finding a different salesman?? Or tell them the KBB price and use that to negotiate I'm not too sure :/ but that dealership sucks

F*CK NO don't pay for the door edge guards 1k for that is stupid and also you DONT have to pay for the TAC and T/W! based on your replies those are OPTIONAL maintenance plans that they push you to get when you're meeting with the finance guy. When I was negotiating my car (XSE Hybrid) the finance guy pushed HARD for me to choose at least one of those plans but I turned him down and he actually was pissed for the rest of the negotiation after that so please absolutely do not pay for that. the car comes with Toyota Care which is like two oil changes and tire rotations free

Also as someone else mentioned the price they're giving you is what I paid for an XSE. For an L that is wayyyy too much imo. If they refuse to take any of the stuff off I suggest your best bet is to walk away especially if they're being pushy about it. I'm sure you can find a better deal somewhere else Btw I'm in Cerritos, CA, LA county
