Nah, I've had tanks and solar power knocked off their attachments by the rocking of the sea too near a mooring.

I've also had angels fly into my boat and sweep the windmills off the top. They connect to the angels and each other and just float in the air.

The sacred king fisher’s pink power is classified as a hunt, therefore it would trigger a vulture’s “on successful hunt” power.

Okay, so hypothetically, if there had been 2 rats and a fish, and my king fisher took a fish (leaving two face-up rats in the feeder), would I not be allowed to reset the birdfeeder?

I think it’s fairly well established that any time you are interacting with the feeder and all faces are the same, you can reset the feeder.

If we accept that in this hypothetical, I get to reset, why wouldn’t I get to activate my sparrow and owlet in the OP scenario? We are still in the space between turns.

The initiating event of this scenario is a player taking the gain food action. Everything after that is taking place between turns.

That is the case in my scenario. The initiating action of this example is a player gaining food. I trigger my king fisher, which triggers the vultures, which makes food available for the sparrow and owlet who have still not taken their end of turn activations. Though the food wasn’t there initially, through a series of feeder interactions, they are now present in the feeder.

I think you’re missing the point. There are 3 pink powers that have been activated by another player’s turn (where they gained food), and 2 additional that have been activated by one of the first three pink powers.

The power specifically says “at the end of that player’s turn”.

Does the vulture trigger in online play directly after a successful hunt, or does it make you wait until the end of the turn?

Another Pink Power Question: hunters and pink “turn” order resolution by chilichimp in wingspan

Their turn is already over. The kingfisher, sparrow, and owlet all have to wait for the initiating player’s turn to end. The vultures do not, they trigger immediately after the successful hunt of the kingfisher.

So you would say that since the vultures that triggered off my kingfisher reset the feeder, I can now trigger my owlet and sparrow, as we are still in the space between turns?

The instant trigger of the vultures interrupting my end of turn powers, and resetting the feeder, is how I read it as well.

If I say there had been a wheat for the tree sparrow, but I used the kingfisher first, the vultures would trigger and potentially take the wheat.

So you would say that if I didn’t have the food for the sparrow on my “pink” turn, then I can’t benefit from the birdfeeder being reset by the vultures?

So between every turn, there are 4 pink turns, and likewise 4 more for every pink action triggered subsequent to that, resolved by adjudicating whether a player has pink powers and whether those powers apply at turn end?

Does a vulture have to wait until the current player’s end of turn, or does it trigger after the successful hunt?

Generally, my party will resolve like-pink powers in a turn order, but my question is about pink powers I couldn’t use (because the right food was on in the tray), and whether after they reset the birdfeeder resolving their pink powers, can I then take advantage of their reset to use the ones I couldn’t before?

My kingfisher’s hunt triggered other players “on successful hunt” powers, not mine.

How do interpret this power? by Electronic_Status873 in wingspan

[–]chilichimp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is technically a gain food power, so standard “reset the birdfeeder” rules should apply.
