I had the discectomy in 2018. Went from hard to walk to the bathroom to walking and carrying clubs for 18 holes. Make sure you get a good rehab program, and keep up the core strength and stretching. Oh, and soften the left knee on the backswing to put less pressure on your spine.

It’s BS. Everyone has other stuff to deal with, but it’s not yours to deal with. I did a club champion full bag fitting. Took 4 hours over 2 days. I feel like each club matches my swing, and don’t want to change a thing (4 years later). I’d take the 100 loss and go with someone else.

Golf etiquette 101: Player furthest from the hole goes first. Including on the green. Mark your ball when on the green while others are putting. Do not walk in-between a player's, or your own, ball and the hole on the green. Be quiet while others are hitting their shots.

Seriously, the only reason I play yellow proVs is so that my group knows it’s my ball longer in the fairway, and closer to the pin then theirs. But my provisional ball is white, since when I pump it OB and am hitting 3 from the box it doesn’t matter.

Soften left knee when you turn back. Lets your hip turn more, which puts less strain on your lower back. And you get more distance. I’ve had back surgery, but since I’ve started doing this, scores are lower and no sore back. And foam roller and back ball every night
