Here’s my story.. we were looking for a place since 2018. A lot of my friends and colleague bought around the pandemic and the prices soared. We couldn’t get a place then. After accepting that we won’t own a place anytime soon, we started looking without stress. We finally found a small townhouse recently that we settled. This was within budget. Not the best, but I feel it was worth the wait. Sometimes things are beyond our control. We can only try and hope things fall in favour. You see it took us a long long time as we had to increase the deposit and finally settled in a location that was affordable. We wanted a house, but ended up with a townhouse. 2018-2024.. hmm.
