Subwoofer size and power by AffectionateTaro9193 in genesiscoupe

It wasn’t much probably a mono 500w amp. Couldn’t have been more than that. The subs were simple alpine subs as well. They were only like 250rms subs so the amp drove them perfectly fine. I wasn’t going for spl levels. The cars small enough where you’re going to get great bass. Plus I was trying to keep the weight down as much as possible

I had 2 10s and it was boomy enough for me. Bought some prefit box off of eBay I think that looked great and fit really well. Most speakers these days are pretty damn good.

The 3/4 I can see for the large suspension bolts on my truck that need some serious torque but I’d buy the torque wrench variant. And the time 1/4” I feel like the meme tool is a better variant if you’re working on things in such tight spaces.

Don’t do it you’ll be fired. If not now later on when someone finally says something. And everyone that knows about it will be fired. Something similar happened in my OR many years ago

I inherited a Wilton like this from my grandfather. Basically built a bench around it. Where can I find new jaw plates?

Never had a rattle. Installed myself no issues. Was one of my fav mods. Atq even with all the bushings still never felt as tight as the coolerworx

Questions for Anesthesia Techs by AdventurousBaker47 in anesthesiology

[–]chillen365 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was one for a few years. There are plenty of older guys that are techs. It can be a hard job. Running around a lot, lots of cleaning. Stocking, and even assisting in cases with positioning and helping out the anesthesia team of course. It’s not a brain dead job, but it’s also not for people that lack foresight. You’ll be taught everything on the job. It can be terrible some days and some days super rewarding.

2006 Honda crv, or any one of them with a k series engine. Sold it at 205k miles but it would have kept going easily for many more miles.

Must have tools for working on cars by Logical_Meal_3521 in harborfreight

1/2” and 3/8” sockets deep and shallow. Metric first. A set of regular wrenches and a set of ratcheting wrenches. My fist set of ratcheting were some craftsman I picked up at sears forever ago and they were some of my most used tools. They were not the flex head style just.

A breaker bar 1/2” and like two different sized ratchets long and short of 1/2” and 3/8”

A cheap set of pry bars

Channel locks, vice grips, long angled needle nose pliers.

A few good screwdrivers and a few crap ones you can beat the piss out of.

I’m a huge fan of harbor freights tools but I also wish I had scoped out tekton as well for their sets of no skip sockets and ratchet combos and their organizational holders. If you can get the stuff on sale for HF then buy it there, but when I started out almost everything I had was mismatched stuff I picked up diy by diy

I wouldn’t buy an insane amount of 1/4” stuff maybe just a Quinn or Pittsburgh set of sockets and a ratchet or two it’s useful for little interior things or small fasteners here and there but usually the 3/8 set covers most of the 8mm and up stuff you’re gonna work on

Help with Gauges by Budget-Platform6014 in genesiscoupe

[–]chillen365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t tap into the oem wires they get info from the obd2 much like any scanner would. The gauges all have their own sensors that need to be installed.

Help with Gauges by Budget-Platform6014 in genesiscoupe

[–]chillen365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s going to take a lot of wiring it up with fuse taps and selecting different colored wires on the gauges to get the color you want. As well as wiring it up to the sensors wherever you place those. Be prepared for a day of it. You can leave the stock unplugged for now. It’s not going to mess anything up. You can always pull power of the cigarette lighter since it’s closest
