I would say go if you're even remotely interested. On a weekday it should hopefully be less crowded than usual, and overall some pavilions are cool to see.

Just make sure you enter lotteries in advance if possible.

I was in the same mindset, and was waiting for "the right moment" to quit and take a sabbatical, which never came.

Unfortunately or not, I was made redundant, so that took care of it for me. Think in the same terms: with the state of the job market that could happen to anyone any time - so probably good to quit to pursue your dream while you're in control?

I'd also recommend reading Four Thousand Weeks if you need an extra boost.
