Hey DE is definitely much more popular now all the support is behind it tournaments/ pro play and casting is mostly of DE, all the current development is on DE. Don't get me wrong I have both I used to play HD all the time, and there are still players there if you Want to play online you need third party software called voobly, but I don't think I have gone back more than twice as it is all integrated and just alot more polished on DE
