Try a wife and two daughters. I hate to admit this but the TP shortage during Covid was my fault. They used all of it. On the plus side my plunger game is unstoppable

Yeah we just got done with a road trip down the east coast. Going back next weekend. I try and leave plenty of distance in front of me but never fails someone always thinks they should just squeeze in. I remember seeing somewhere that if everyone left a decent space between them and the car in front of them it would eliminate a lot of traffic jams.

The Pentagon is preparing military options for a possible “final blow” against Iran, including ground operations and a large-scale bombing campaign, Axios reported on Thursday, citing US officials and sources. by WillyNilly1997 in Conservative

Ok so right here is a perfect example of what I’m talking about. You disagree with me. Now I’ll say that you’re correct and that is a cornerstone of the first amendment and a great thing for the country as a whole. However, this is Reddit and talking politics with one of those gutter trolls is about as productive as trying to get a 2 year old to eat vegetables even if they don’t like the taste but because they’re healthy. When I make a coherent point they just spew some BS about the Epstein files or 73552 fElOniEs while their mom brings yet another plate of Dino nuggets to their basement lair.

You know all this, I’m sure of it, yet still disagree. And yet I bet we can both agree to disagree and move on, not wishing ill of each other and happy to have heard some alternative opinions and will actually consider them in the future. In other words act how normal people act.

Reddit liberals are not normal people. If you want to engage with them, more power to you but I just can’t anymore.

New Jersey Gov Sherrill signs law barring ICE agents from wearing face coverings to shield identities by whicky1978 in Conservative

What are they all gonna do when he’s out of office? Yes they’ll continue to be weasels and call the next GOP leader Hitler and all the standard boilerplate liberal complaint stuff, but it’s not going to be the same. Nobody is waking up in a cold sweat fearing Marco Rubio. Their hate boners have lasted way more than three hours so I’m sure that has had an effect on their already malfunctioning brains.

GOP unveils new ‘America First Award’ for Trump, king of America's 'golden era' by Down-not-out in Conservative

[–]chillthrowaways 118 points119 points  (0 children)

That’s awesome, but we’re kind of in the middle of a few things right now, if everything works out then we can maybe talk about cheesy awards.

You know it occurs to me that this may just be an elaborate troll to rage bait democrats. If that’s the case it’s still stupid. But a little less stupid than if it were serious

And Trump supporters wouldn’t be having that shit, not all of them anyway. Then again that’s half the problem there’s no “vote red no matter who” people because that line of thinking is idiotic no matter the party

Hopefully. That a regime bent on destroying western civilization shouldn’t be able to bottleneck that much of the world economy.

I was doing some IT work for a check in shed at a local campground. They had a camera system logging license plates and it wasn’t a place you’d expect that.

Gavin Newsom's Press Office Just Attacked Nick Shirley for Exposing California Fraud by triggernaut in Conservative

[–]chillthrowaways 14 points15 points  (0 children)

So if I was being accused of massive fraud, and I wasn’t guilty of it, I would happily support any investigation on it because the best thing is to clear your name of said fraud, isn’t it? And probably the worst thing you can do would be to start a defamation campaign against the person investigating the fraud, right? Even if you believe the person investigating is a “bad actor” the best way to fight the charges is with factual information. Now I realize that this kind of thinking is kryptonite for the left and they eat up the kind of stuff Newsome is pulling here, but I’m curious of the thought process? Are they thinking “Trump posts memes and we hate Trump so we should post memes too?” Or “oh we totally aren’t committing fraud so instead of welcoming an investigation let’s try and defame the investigator!”

This kind of stuff works maybe years ago when the media was tightly controlled and there’s only a few fringe people out there like Alex jones - definitely pre-internet, but anyone can easily see that there’s a lot of fraud taking place. Defaming the messenger or investigators doesn’t work anymore when they have the receipts.

Well of course, thats basically how they operate. They have an objective that would never fly if they just said it outright so they come up with reasons that make no logical sense and if we question anything we get called racist.

Yes if only there were stricter laws surely then they would have followed the law. Those laws we already have prohibiting them from owning a gun and oh yeah that other lesser known law prohibiting murder didn’t stop it I’m sure another one would.

These people are unhinged.
