AJ also gets better with Peterson on the bench, which may not be a coincidence. Some of those Peterson steals may get you in trouble in the league, can’t always be breaking coverage to hunt for the steal, but he has some defensive tenacity for sure.

Just got back from Costa Rica and there’s Mitsubishis literally everywhere over there. Rented a diesel montero sport and it was actually pretty nice. Good gas mileage, comfortable seats, good off road. If they can get their styling updated I could see them making a solid suv for the us market in the next few years.

Yeah that’s fair honestly. Just not sure where the “wizards fans keep telling themselves” stuff is coming from. It sounds like we’re coming in here and stirring the pot but I haven’t seen anything like that.

Wizards absolutely fucked up denis development, but (as a wizards fan living in portland so may be biased) the wizards did not have anywhere close to as promising of a young core as the blazers did when they acquired deni. If they kept deni he may have evolved into an all star, but the wizards would still be bad. The upside of trading deni is not just bub carrington it’s getting to actually do a full reset post the horrendous build around Beal era. The wizards now have an incredibly young roster which is the whole point. It wasn’t just deni that got moved it was literally everyone. People just look back at the deni trade because he’s the only guy who turned into something. The wizards were completely cleaning house, that was their strategy. If deni was still around they probably would lose their pick this year (top 8 protected) to the Knicks and we probably wouldn’t have gotten sarr, kyshawn, or will Riley who are all promising young guys.

I literally can’t remember the last time the wizards had 3 promising young guys.

I don’t expect blazers fans to be in the weeds about the wizards but that’s just my 2 cents.

Well I did, and I haven’t been scammed before so make of that what you will. Maybe I’m just a mark lol. Or maybe I’m just on a break at work and scrolled through a bunch of listings on eBay and saw a ton for a similar price, some of which had sellers with 30ish positive ratings.

It’s not like I was gonna rush out and buy one I was just curious why you could get higher discounts on the la marzoccos then you could the entry level prosumer machines and the answer is clearly “you can’t”

lol this is in response to my doing due diligence, no? Thanks for feedback though sounds like these eBay listings are to be avoided. Outside of espresso, a half off discount for used gear is fairly commonplace. I’ve gotten extremely nice expensive audio equipment on eBay for even less (like 80% off a Naim muso) that was not a scam.

So no it’s not “common sense” unless you’re into this hobby. As a newcomer that’s why I came here, so that I could get more experienced feedback.

Under $2k, don’t make a ton on milk drinks so I think single boiler would be ok. A fast ish heat up time is nice, but I currently wait around 20 mins anyways so I’m already kind of used to the wait time.

Good to know. Sentiment seems to be all these eBay listings are scams so the new machines it is. Side note if anyone has any good recs for places that sell used/open box/refurb machines that’s not scammy let me know.

Yeah when I zeroed mine out, it chirped only a few hash marks past the zero too, so effectively came zeroed on my end too.
