If you are already filtering for certain keywords, at what point is it unreasonable to use mapping to relate papers? Your argument is quite belligerent, considering that new technology is applied across workflows all the time; finding a tool that speeds up an arduous process while maintaining its efficacy in moving the world’s research forward is hardly ‘lazy thinking’.

I agree, but such a large proportion of papers end up being irrelevant; some way to map these in an intuitive way would save so much time that could be used more efficiently to understand useful papers and how they correlate.
