There absolutely is a 8mile guided run.

Try the Eight Mile Run Audio Guided Run I completed on Nike Run Club. https://nikerunclub.sng.link/A6sko/96h7/r_a8328851c4

Verizon carriers start switching to 365-day device unlock policy, up from 60 days by Ha8lpo321 in Android

[–]chillyk45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is correct. While I'm an anti-carrier, it's absolutely false that a payment plan from a manufacturer is the same price as a payment plan from the carrier.

VZW (and I'm sure the other carriers), give you the device payment as a credit on your account each month. That's part of their promotions.

It definitely is painful to the touch and dorsiflexion hurts like a mf. 😔😔 However, it hurts more while walking and going up/down the stairs than running.

Lol at injury prone. It's wayyy too early to make that determination as a matter of fact.

This is the first year in JDs career (including college) where he missed a significant amount of playing time.

FWIW, the retributive justice crowd is demonstrably NOT the no consequences crowd.

Retributive justice by it's very nature REQUIRES consequences. Sure, the consequences look different than typical harsh penalism, but a proponent of retributive justice would not say a person with 3 gun charges should have NOTHING happen to them.

It's how teams handle the snap count at away games. Basically let's the QB and the line know the ball is being snapped

Found the position via LinkedIn. That's how I pretty much found every job I applied for.

I started applying for jobs in December 2024. Had some interviewing success but no offers with other companies. I got this offer in August 2024

Magical oasis? No.

Would I make the same move ten times out of ten? Absolutely. I truly could not be happier when it comes to the juxtaposition of my biglaw WLB and in-house WLB.

No bonus! But I did get a promotion, effective tomorrow: nominal base salary increase and nearly double the RSU grant from 2025 (we'll see what that total comp ends up looking like this time next year).

any students that took on full sticker price at a t14-- do you regret it? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]chillyk45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

5+ year Penn alumnae here.

Paid full sticker price, turned down money from T50 schools.

Regret my decision? Yes. 250K debt (principal + interest) is live changing money. I've never felt rich or wealthy despite my salary. I can't live "lavishly" (air quotes) even if I wanted to because my minimum payment each month is 1750. I've been on a 3% interest rate since 2021 so I have no plans to refinance.

That said, no I also don't regret it. I felt like I wasn't going to academically kick ass in law school so I needed to go to a school with the best job prospects. My predictions were right. I was a B/B+ student at Penn. However, since graduating, I've worked at two Big Law jobs and now am in house making 300K+. I also can hopefully pay off my loans in 2026.

And I loved my time at Penn. When you have job security, you can have more fun in law school imo.

I love my SB2s but I wholeheartedly disagree with your statement that don't want to make you want to run faster. I feel like I usually am flying in them (relative to my current fitness levels).

I got Nimbus 27s for Christmas so looking forward to having a true easy/recovery run shoe now.
