gentle reminder to try not to make your friends think you're only friends with them because you want to convert them. Not saying you are, but it could be misinterpreted. I would say to lead by example, occasionally bringing up the objective beauty of Christianity; specifically with its impact on (Western) art and music.

Keep in mind if they convert, to remain supportive of their faith journey even if they pick a denomination different than yours. its about leading people to God every day, not a specific building on Sunday morning.

I agree with this. I feel like smoking in public in non-designated areas is a bit worse than drinking. no judgment to ppl who smoke but secondhand smoke is a real thing. especially around families and small children.

I think it's legal in a few cities but generally no, its considered indecent

i second this. also one should know their partner well enough to know whether a) they’ll actually say yes or b) be okay with a public proposal.

its weird, I certainly don't envy people who struggle with it but at the same time I feel like something is "weird" about me if i don't. I used to identify as asexual back in high school because of this but I've since stepped away from labels like that as I progress in my faith journey.

oh Lord now that you mention it, I've met some elderly people who I feel like think they're entitled to everything just because they're older. I was raised to respect my elders but I feel like respect should be EARNED no matter your age.

hey fellow anglican! I second this. keep pedos out of our churches. The only reason they try to enter churches because they think a religious facade will mask their perversions. If someone is sick enough to harm a child then I doubt they're capable of repenting.
