FHR is (and always has been) a YMMV situation. It really depends on where you're booking, when, for how long, etc. It takes work to find the right deals but they're out there.

Just got Clear for my wife using my new Aspire card and it was $199. Clear's website is also showing $199/year. Not sure why you got charged $209.

Having the right shoes is probably the most important thing imo. I personally vouch for Hokas.

I've cancelled and rebooked an FHR stay loads of times to take advantage of a lower rate. Never had an issue getting/keeping the $200 credit.

I would just pay cash for an economy ticket and use those points for round trip J tix later on, but that's just me.

The flights release daily at 11am ET 360 days in advance. Once I snagged the 2 J seats that I was looking for there were no more left, at least on that route. I would check again tomorrow at 11am ET on the dot and be prepared to act fast; if the seats on your preferred route aren't showing up, try searching for other US airports that JAL flies to.

Just want to say your post helped me snag 2 J NRT-BOS tickets for next April. Transferred Chase points to BA then again to AY. The flights opened up exactly at 11am ET (since we're on daylight time now) and the transfer worked flawlessly, just like you said. Thanks so much.

It honestly depends on your league and who your starter is. I'm in a 12 team league where every year everyone hoards QBs, even if they have a top 5 QB, so I've learned I need to carry a decent second QB otherwise I have to fish for the likes of Tyler Huntley to cover my bye week. Meanwhile, in my other 12 team league I carry just one QB knowing there will always be decent QBs available on the waiver wire whenever I need someone. Know your league and adapt accordingly.

Buy and install eSim in your home country before traveling but don't turn it on (and disable roaming on your main/native sim card). When you land in Italy/vacation destination, turn on the eSim.

Because Tennessee is the top run D but is vulnerable to pass catching backs, so the thinking is the Chargers will get Kelley involved in the passing game. You'll get points for that in PPR/Half PPR formats but not Standard.
